My wife and I stayed in one of the B&B lodgings for three nights and were absolutely amazed at the stunning setting as well as the regular visits from the kangaroo's. The authentic décor of the cottages was in keeping with the surrounds including four poster bed in our room and was well equipped with all that you could need....

The accommodation at Smoky Cape lighthouse must be unique. It offers B and B type lodgings or self catered cottages.....we stayed in the cottages. Both are well kept and equipped without being over the top, and quite genuine to their time...late 1890s. The location is extraordinary, wonderful coastline and sea views with very interesting walks. The hosts, Wendy and Pat,...

My husband and I stayed at one of the cottages for 5 glorious nights. The views are to die for - couldn't ask for better. The people who run the lighthouse cottages and B & B are very accommodating and helpful. The atmosphere of these heritage cottages is wonderful and you get the feel of how it would have been...

Although this type of stopover isn't really our thing we thought we'd give it a go on our journey down from Brisbane to Sydney and are glad we did as it is most memorable.....for a couple of reason. 1. The views from the lighthouse area were fantastic and to see it working at night was really something special as was...

We spent 4 nights in the care of Pat and Wendy. They are wonderful hosts who take absolute pride in their establishment. The hospitality was great and nothing was too difficult. This stay gave us a brief glimpse into a by-gone era of lighthouse keeping. Leave your technology behind and enjoy nature.

We had a most enjoyable stay at one of the two the self-catering cottages attached to the light house. The large, old residence was clean and well appointed. Our cottage had wonderful views over the long beach below. Pat and Wendy were helpful and friendly. The only problem was lack of internet access.

When you stay at an unusual place light a lighthouse, you expect it to be out of the ordinary. Smokey Cape Lighthouse B&B exceeds all expectations. The hosts, Pat and Wendy, gave us a warm welcome, two hearty breakfasts and a private tour of the working lighthouse. The 1890's lighthouse keepers cottage transports you to a bygone era. The views...
