Black Rock is a beautiful lodge between San Ignacio and the Guatemalan border. The accommodations are simple, but nice. Staff is amazing -- knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating. We had a great time getting to know them. Food was very good and it was nice that they had vegetarian options. We arrived just before dinner. Dinners are served family style. It was...

My fiancee and I traveled to Black Rock in May before our wedding in Ambergris Caye. It blew away our expectations. Not just the places, but the people. Giovanni and his team could not have been nicer and more accommodating to us. The day trip we took to Caracol (which I highly recommend), Mountain Pine Forest Reserve, Rio On Pools,...

A great experience staying here, one of the best places Iv ever stayed. Location in the jungle with own section of river for tubing, with amazing lodge. Owners take time to get to know you and tailor your stay to how you want it without being overbearing in any way. Kitchen is superb - best breakfast burrito we had all...

My friend and I found Black Rock through Trip Advisor and we are so thankful we did. Black Rock is a truly phenomenal place to stay and I wish we could have spent more time there. As soon as you get to Black Rock, you immediately feel relaxed by the setting. Firstly, the staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and gracious....

I stayed at Black Rock Lodge in February 2015 with a group of about 25 people (we had bought out the whole place for 3 days). I had an amazing time, and anything we could've asked for, the staff provided. There are about 20 "cabins" to stay in - my bed was ridiculously comfortable and had a view of the...

The best experience overall one could ask for. They were extremely prompt in replying to my emails. They made sure they answered all my questions ahead of time. A very positive approach and attitude from the staff. They went above and beyond with the services as well... It was one of my friends birthday and they made a surprise cake...

This review is a bit overdue-but I can't imagine anything changing-this place has an amazing staff, efficient and committed to their guests having nothing less than an amazing stay-we certainly did!! My husband and I in our early 30s, love getting immersed in the places we travel too-this place allowed us to do that. We were picked up from the...

Each cabana is situated so you do no see the one next to you, great private views of the river and the jungle. Food is Fantastic and...

Black Rock was the highlight of our trip to Belize, and that includes our time on Ambergris Caye! Based on the reviews here, I was excited to stay there, but it truly blew me away. The website DOES NOT DO IT JUSTICE. The setting is stunning, with 16 cabins situated above the river, which all feel semi-private, have great beds...
