Sitting right on the Amazon River, among the trees of the rainforest - great place. The rooms are good size, clean, comfortable, and air-conditioned. The meeting area / bar / dining room building is good size, comfortable and clean. The buffet style meals were good and included American favorites along with "local" foods - great set up to try new...

This was our first trip to the Amazon rainforest, and it could not have gone better. We spent 3 days there, and each was filled with activities. Louis M., our guide for the duration, met us at the Iquitos airport and was with us right till he dropped us off at the boarding gate. His knowledge of the forest and...

Spent 3 nights 4 days at Ceiba Tops and found my expectations of a "luxury" lodge no where near what this lodge provided - other than a pool area I could find nothing to call luxury. The rooms were adequate but air conditioning was ancient and could not be adjusted unless a staff member was called, the 2 pillows on...

quality lodge, clean comfortable rooms and great they encourage western style sanitation with the toilets/paper - cold AC, great pool area and jungle all around. lodge mascot, a Tapir around 400 lbs is quite a treat. food plentiful and quality OK, but nothing special and breakfast gets old as same items each day and no condiments to cover up. staff...

I will start with the positive. Very friendly staff, food was good, clean, beautiful cabins & grounds. The issue I had with the lodge was too much down time. The trip started off great. Arrived and visited a native village, dinner & night hike. Day 2 early am bird watching with visit to a village to see their market. We...

These were unexpectedly large cabins with everything needed - excellent accommodation which we didn't really expect in the jungle. Food is buffet and good. An excellent swimming pool to relax in at the end of a day exploring. Just a note - hairdryers need to be requested from the office so get in before they run out. Great for friends...

We had several friends tell us about the Explorama Group with great reviews, and they did NOT disappoint. We have four girls (11, 9, 6, 3 years old) their grandfather (64 yrs old), and it was a perfect place for us. Our tour guide, Orlando, was with us from the beginning to the end. He picked us up at the...

Had a great time. Staff was wonderful. Special kudos to Willy, our guide. Grounds, pool and common areas were exceptionally clean and well maintained. Loved seeing Cynthia, the tapir, around the grounds. Monkeys and other jungle life were seen daily. Our large cabin was air conditioned and clean. Beds were a little lacking for couples, but the huge shower made...

This was an extension through Go Ahead travel. We are so glad we optd for this. Our program manager, Roberto, tended to our every need. Our guide,Willy, was filled with knowledge, esp when it came to birds. The lodge offered many activities one could pick and choose. There was a little band that played nightly. The pool, rooms, restaurant, public areas...

We were booked at this site for three nights through Gate 1. All of our activities were included. What's to like: - Incredibly knowledgeable guides who are also experts in organizing people and activities. - Air conditioned rooms. (Roughing it sounds great until you walk through a jungle on a hot humid day, which, as far as I know, might...
