We had the most delightful and unexpected stay at Mahogany Hall! I had actually booked another room nearby in Bullet tree that did not work out, and as we drove off into darkening night, to drive into San Ignatio(3 miles) for dinner, I remembered Mahogany Hall kept popping up on Trip Advisor and Booking.com. So we stopped in after dark...

Mahogany Hall is situated right on top of a river bank, giving it a beautiful, scenic location. Upon arriving, Jose greeted us with drinks and the key to our room. The room itself wasn't very big but was quite comfortable and had a delightful, bed-and-breakfast feel to it. The location of Mahogany Hall made it a great base-camp for tours...

Mahagony Hall is magical. Our room was pretty, comfortable, and charming. The staff -- Marsha, Jose and chef Joseph made us feel like VIPs. We were in the area to explore Mayan ruins (ATM tour & Tikal), which meant early breakfasts - which were served with a smile. Dinners were terrific, and every night our dining table on the deck...

There is not a lot in San Ignacio, but it's a good stepping off point to Mayan temples and caves. This jungle resort is quiet - only 8 rooms/suites. Food is good, people are accommodating. Great place to sit and watch the river in the jungle and do a whole lot of nothing. They booked our trip to Tikal for...

The service was great, the property is beautiful, On the river bank. The General manager was very attentive to all needs and information. I could go back anytime, and looking forward to it. Really beautiful old decor with grand attention to details.

Mahogany Hall provides you with a place to retreat or find time to yourself. Sitting by the river or soaking in the pool is soothing and the best feature of this hotel. The rooms are small but beautifully designed with historic charm. Staying here gives you history and natural beauty all in one.

We spent a night at Mahogany Hall in Bullet Tree Falls, and the thing I remember most is that my room, a regular room on the second floor, had the coldest air-conditioning in Belize. Seriously, I've been traveling in Belize for 26 years and have stayed in more than 250 hotels, lodges and inns, and I've never experienced colder A/C....

We acknowledge your review and are in the process of putting in hand rails and other renovations. Our sincere apologies that you found the air conditioning to be too cold and did not enjoy a peaceful sleep as most of our guests do. Once again, thank you for your recommendations, they will be reviewed.

It is difficult to write a review when I have so many good things to say about my stay in Mahogany Hall. The first one is that we received an room upgrade which was fantastic and quite comfortable. The attention from all the staff was superb, especially Jose who was always there to help us. We had breakfast and dinner...

We had to evacuate from the Carribean coast to west Belize due to hurricane Earl. As a result of this, we ended up receiving accommodations at Mahogany Hall. What an incredible location! We would've never known about this place if it weren't for the hurricane, but we're glad we ended up here. The resort itself is immaculate and our room...

Thank you for your wonderful review. We are happy to hear you are delighted with our location, resort, accommodation, meals and staff. Thank you for your concern regarding the eaves; management is aware of the situation. The resort is going to be close in the slowest month for renovations this year. Looking forward to your return visit to our paradise!
