We were pleasantly surprised with the very neat facilities at Bivane Dam when we decided to go Fishing for the weekend. The mountainous surroundings offers beautiful views. We were a bit disappointed to find the dam at only 40% level, so fishing was a bit challenging but we did not go empty handed. We will definitely plan a longer stay...

Went as a day visitor. What a wonderful little place, I had no idea of the facilities they offered. Little shop, little pool, plenty of shaded areas and braais to use. Very clean and neat bathrooms. Dam level was very low but still pleasant. Will definitely return and stay the weekend next time at one of the chalets

What an amazing campsite and chalet destination. Clean, well maintained with great braai facilities right on the dam, swimming pool, small shop and big entertainment area. The dam is 12km long and provides wonderful sheltered skiing in beautiful African surrounds. We were incredibly impressed. Fishing was a bit quiet. Chalets have one 2 bed private room and an open loft...

We were the only people of colour there-could this have something to do about the manner of treatment. This is very sad in this day and age with Madibas recent passing. However,...

Besides not catching anything it still...
