We had never visited a Beach hotel in Fujairah, so we thought of giving a try. We had booked for 2 nights including breakfast. There was no delay in check-in. We would like to appreciate Mr. Hosny who welcomed us with a smile. While the room was getting ready, we tried the special Buffet lunch at Views Restaurant. It was just ok for the price, maybe because our expectations were a bit high. We liked the sea facing room which was very spacious. Even toilets were spacious with separate areas for tub and bath. They have several activities for kids in a corner. A small area for badminton, table tennis etc. We had dinner in our room as we couldn't get a seat in two of their main restaurants till 9:30 pm. Breakfast buffet was nice and was predominantly an English breakfast. We couldn't spend much time in the beach as the sea water was a bit unclean at that time. We had the lunch on the second day from Gonu Restaurant. The grills we ordered were really nice. Even though the main course items in the menu of Gonu, Sopore and Thai were limited, whatever we ordered from all three restaurants were prepared very well. Appreciate the chefs. Breakfast buffet was almost the same on the second day as well. Check-out was smooth. We would like to appreciate Mr. Raj, Mr. Chami and Ms. Jeanette in the Views Restaurant. The chef Mr. Murshid was very kind enough to personally come to us and ask if everything was fine. We do appreciate the room service team including Mr. Amal who brought the food within an hour and temperature of the food was still perfect. Staff at the pool bar were really nice. Things we disliked in the hotel: • Reservations for table in main Restaurants. Guests with kids may find it difficult if they don’t get a table that too after spending this amount. • Overcrowded swimming pool. Better if Swimming pool etiquettes are displayed near the pool. • People simply keep the towel on the sun lounger in the morning and take it in the evening and claim it to be reserved for the whole day, which is really bad. They are supposed to allow other guests to use the sun lounger when they are not using the pool at that time. Unfortunately, the staff are unable to handle this issue. We really appreciate Mr. Pratap near the pool who was kind enough to get us a sun lounger. • Pool bar is for everyone and not just for a few people who just sit there with a drink for a very long time. It’s always nice to give the seat to another guest who has spent a similar amount to enjoy the amenities. • Sleep was not that comfortable, maybe because of the mattress. • Lifts could be a bit faster. • Wish they had a covered restaurant near the beach (Gonu) as it was tough to handle houseflies. • TV with streaming apps would have been better these days. Suggestions: Short visits during off peak time would be better if you are planning to visit with kids so that you could use the amenities well. Thanks.

Perfect destination for an escape from city life and work. Amazing resort with large spaces of green areas , sport courses beautiful pool and a great beach, open on the Indian Ocean. The rooms are spacious, with very nice view on the sea. Several restaurants with a variety of food and high quality. Lot of water and beach activities are available including diving lessons. The best experience was also due to the outstanding staff who are very proactive and helpful. Starting from arrival check-in room service, waiters, lifeguards and every team member. I have noticed the management engagement with the team and their remarkable presence everywhere and with the guests checking that everything is going well. Special thanks to all team members and especially Sreekanth , Diaa,,Tonie, Bini, Rose, from Front desk and all concierge and restaurants team and chefs. Well done team! We will come back soon.

Spent 10 lovely relaxing days at this hotel in March, the staff and food here are first class, they really cannot do enough for you and are all so eager to please, I have coeliacs and they really went above and beyond for me and the food is very very good!! Too many staff to mention but a special thank you to Brenda and I think the gentleman’s name was Mohammed in the Baywatch bar in the evening, Tittus in the buffet restaurant and all the staff in the Italian, Puspa, Swe, Kiran & Koustav and lastly the people in the towel exchange and the very smiley pleasant life guards 😀 !! The management are very eager to listen to your comments and we made a suggestion with regard to people on an all inclusive package and the happy hour in the sky bar which didn’t make any sense to us at all and it was changed and implemented before we left!! The hotel is large as were the bedrooms and bathrooms it is looking a little tired and dated in some areas but we were told it is having a refurb starting later in the year to be completed in two stages, it certainly didn’t make our holiday any less enjoyable or comfortable. Lovely walk along the beach in the morning to watch the local fisherman bring their catch in and a small car museum across the road which is worth a visit. We travelled during the period of Ramadan and there were some slight restrictions/alterations with regards to entertainment and alcohol consumption, this did not affect us at all and we are not teetotal !! Had a wonderful holiday, thank you all!!

We had a very relaxing time at Le Méridien Al Aqah Beach Resort. The resort is beautifully located at the beach with the mountains just behind. Greeted every morning with the sound of waves from the Indian Ocean. Staff is very attentive and do the upmost to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The hotel has many floors so getting a room high up gives a fantastic view. I’ve been to RAK a couple of times before but now the eastern part of U.A.E is my new favorite.

Absolutely lovely! Super big rooms, great pools and beach. People say it’s tired around the edges and yes, it is a little, but soon see past it. Lovely staff, great service and alot to be happy about. One small complaint …. The towels on the loungers at sunrise with no one on them all day, hotel should stop this practice as there are plenty to go round, just frustrating.

We had the best family holiday at Le Meridien from the check in service to the time we leave. It’s such a lovely hotel with a family feel, all the staff are friendly and catered to your needs. We booked 2 rooms. We asked for an early check in as my daughter needed a nap and Tonie was quickly to find us a room so my daughter could sleep and we could all get changed and enjoy the pool/beach. I really thought Tonie was outstanding in her customer service skills. Very thoughtful. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely clean hotel, wonderful friendly staff. Everyone so accommodating. Food was fabulous. Shame the coffee shop not included in "all inclusive " as in other hotels. Would be nice to sit inside somewhere with a fresh coffee. Food was fab in GONU, although you do have to pay for this restaurant. Special mention for Emans the wonderful entertainment lady she really is the most happiest, and friendliest person. Thoroughly enjoyed her Mediation/Yoga classes, and also the quiz night. Also would like to thank Brenda, Harry, Mahmood. And the helpful staff that work so hard in all the restaurants Mai, Pushpata, Nandu. I would highly recommend the full body massage in the spa, it was "heaven"

This was our 8 th visit to our favourite place. I cannot fault the staff it’s unfair to mention one or two names when ALL the staff are amazing, for us there is nowhere in the world that does such a brilliant combination of food and service. Thank you to ALL staff members for always making a stay a special one . See you again later in the year guys!

Very pleasant experience, we were recognized as a loyal member by the duty manager, who welcomed us and immediately took care of our dinner reservations. Another individual that should be recognized is Manu (I think), the overly kind and entertaining waiter from the Thai/Indian restaurant! Top notch service, really enjoyed the overall experience!

The hotel really knows how to take care of Marriot Elite members! We had such a great stay. Stunning resort, great service, a wonderful upgraded suite and the food at the “taste” restaurant was amazing!! It was definitely a resort for families and we felt that as a couple but it didn’t take away from this lovely staycation location.
