Check in was easy and we were served a lovely rum punch which was so welcome. Our room was clean, if a little dated, but looked like it had been recently been redecorated. The hotel has a lovely vibe to it and the location is ideal for getting out and about to explore Rodney Bay and the Island. The grounds are kept well maintained and if you don't want to use one of the three small pools the beach is only a 15 minute stroll away. Breakfast was a little hit and mis, sometimes items such as croissants, melon and cheese were not available, but that said the other meals we ate in the restaurant, midday and evening were very good. The hotel is part of a chain of four hotels in Rodney Bay and there is a very convenient free shuttle bus that you can use to get to the other hotels. Whilst there I had my 60th birthday and all staff from room maid who decorated our room to restaurant staff who decorated our table, sang/wished me happy birthday and presented me with a cake with candle, to reception who gave me a birthday card, were amazing. I will treasure these wonderful memories forever. Special thank you to Jennifer, lovely Lilly, Maggie, Pinky, Terry and to manager Cheryl Gustave, you have some amazing staff, I'm just sad I cannot remember all their names. Thank you all for making our stay such an enjoyable, memorable one. Lastly, merci beaucup Lilly and danke schön Maggie ,

Hotel's Favourite
We just returned from beautiful St. Lucia. Our stay at the Bay Gardens Hotel was everything we had hoped for. The Croton Suite kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast (we did not do the all-inclusive plan) and the living room and bedroom were quite comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. The housekeeping staff cleaned daily and did a great job. The property has 3 pools and one of the pools (with a waterfall) was a 20 step walk from our small patio. Cheryl, Austin, and all of the front desk staff were incredibly helpful to help us with dinner reservations, scheduling our departure Covid tests and anything else we needed. The shuttle to the Beach Resort (5 minutes away) was frequent and drivers were friendly and helpful. The Bay Gardens Beach Resort did an informative orientation for new guests. The beach was beautiful and non-motorized and motorized sports were available. We tried Big Mabel the boat pulled couch and had a blast. I would certainly recommend this hotel and will be back!

When I stayed at the Bay Gardens Hotel, the reviews were not great and ultimately I wish I’d taken them on board. The good: The workers. The bad: The rooms are not great and in need of decoration. There were things missing in my room (picture on the wall, mirror, lamp) there was a lot of rust in the bathroom. When I complained about the rust, the items were replaced. Thankfully I was out everyday, so I spent little time at the hotel and I did go and stay at the Landings for a night. Food was mediocre and samey samey … my party and I still joke about what the difference is between the catch of the day and the catch of the night…the difference is just the time of day :( one evening, we waited for well over an hour for dinner. There were so many unhappy guests. The manager was not very visible and I got the impression she was deliberately avoiding me and my complaints. That said on the final night of our stay, the manager redeemed herself and threw a fantastic party for the guests. However, overall, I would not stay here again.

We returned to Bay Gardens Hotel for a second visit as we had a great holiday in 2018. From arriving we immediately noticed the standard of service had deteriorated from our first visit, the majority of the reception staff came across as not interested when you asked for help or information, the young restaurant staff appear to be drowning in the world of hospitality, and it is only the senior staff that saved it from a total shambles, we ordered numerous meals that were either wrong or had to wait for up to an hour and half one evening for a room service pizza to be delivered only to be told there was a glitch in the system, on another occasion I ordered a meal and asked them to call my room when it was ready and I would come down to collect it, an hour went by and when i went down and asked why I was still waiting they told me they had forgotten my room number, the majority of the young staff had about as much enthusiasm as someone going to the electric chair and would quickly congregate in corners for a chat as soon as the senior staff weren't around, the dining area also has a problem with cats been allowed to roam freely, not ideal for hygiene or allergy reasons. The communal landing area to our room wasn't washed during our two week stay. We had issues with the kettle not working which took three days to get resolved, on another occasion we were left without any towels, which in fairness was rectified quickly after a phone call to reception. The sun lounger covers have seen better days as they are stained from people spilling sun creams etc on the covers, the beach towels that you are supplied with are also in need of changing out. The hotel does have some truly dedicated staff and a big shout out for Helena, Jennifer, Quincy and Sanjay. I hope Bay Gardens Hotel does improve as it would be a shame for them to loose their returning guests, I know all companies are struggling to recover from Covid but the current standards will do little to entice people back for a return visit. Another niggle was been constantly asked for your room number when you ordered food or drinks when you clearly have an all inclusive wrist band, it felt like you were been scrutinised for every penny. Personally if I was to return I would stay in the Bay Gardens Beach Resort as this is a much higher standard.

My husband and I have just returned from a wonderful week in this lovely hotel. I do not have one negative comment to say about out stay. Every member of staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, especially Nathanial! We were greeted with a rum punch cocktail (first of many). The hotel has beautiful surroundings and very relaxing. My husband and I were celebrating our 28th Wedding anniversary. When we returned from a great tour & sea tour we were surprised to find chilled bottle of champagne, card and banner in our room - brought tears to my eyes. If ever you want a little piece of paradise I recommend St Lucia and the Bay Garden Hotel. Thank you Cheryl Gustave and your wonderful staff for making our holiday one we will never forget. We’ve just returned from a fabulous 2 weeks stay at this wonderful, friendly hotel. Every member of staff we encountered during our stay went above & beyond to ensure we had the best service, they could never do enough for you. I’ve actually never stayed anywhere else that has provided us with this quality of service. I shall take this opportunity to once again say a big ‘Thank you’ to the manager Cheryl Gustave & many of her wonderful team including Helena, Lilly, Malcom, Kerlana, Sanjay, Giovanni, Jennifer & Maggie in the restaurant. Pinky, Quincy & Terry at the bar. Daneia, Nema, Leah & Aisha on reception and not forgetting Danny & Enrico at front of house. The hotel is one of 4 Bay Gardens properties in the Rodney Bay area of the island and guests are able to use the facilities at any of the hotels which is a wonderful bonus. We stayed on an all inclusive basis which was a good option. Breakfast was buffet style offering fresh fruit, yoghurt, cakes, pastries & a selection of hot food. There was also the option to make special requests for pancakes, poached eggs etc. Lunch & dinner selections were made from a menu & cooked to order. There was sometimes a bit of a wait, however it was worth it to receive very fresh food. The drinks menu was good with a huge range of cocktails & they also offer virgin cocktails (without alcohol) & some wonderful smoothies & milkshakes! If you take the All Inclusive option then you can transport it with you to the other B.G hotels which is especially useful if you use the beach at Bay Garden resort & spa where you can order drinks to take onto the beach & pop into the beachside restaurant for some lunch. We had a couple of meals at the resort & spa but our opinion is that the food at B.G hotel was actually better! There are 3 small pools at the hotel but the majority of guests seem to head for the beach every day. We had 2 ‘pool days’ when we first arrived to help our pale English skin to acclimatise to the strong Caribbean sun & virtually had the pool to ourselves on both days. When we did head to the beach we caught the free shuttle bus that takes you to the Resort & Spa hotel in 5 minutes. We walked back a few times which takes about 15 minutes dawdle pace! The accommodation is set in beautiful well maintained grounds. We had a ground floor apartment that was very spacious for 2 people with plenty of storage & 2 king size beds-the one we used was very comfortable. We also celebrated a special anniversary during our stay & the wonderful staff ‘sabotaged’ our room with cards bubbly & decorations to add to our special memories of the occasion. A holiday we will never forget……♥️ So to summarise-if you’re looking for a good friendly hotel with a real family feel to it then look no further than BAY GARDENS HOTEL. Book it, you will not be disappointed

Just spent a fabulous two weeks at the Bay Gardens Hotel in St Lucia! We were very well look after by Cheryl Gustave and her whole team (of note Lilly, Daniel, Jennifer, Helena, Quincy and Terry) to name but a few. My mother has issues walking and the BGH team were more than accommodating and couldn't do enough for us both to enable a great stay! The facilities are top of the range and I would definitely recommend the Bay Gardens Hotel as a great hotel for your holiday in St Lucia. 5 STARS. Thank you,

Hotel was nice and staff were friendly. Food in the morning was delicious and would definitely recommend Location can’t be beat close to everything you can need. And is in walking distance. Only thing is there is no view (beach or pool wise) or nowhere to really relax on an afternoon quiet
