Excellent location - walking distance to the beach and plenty of restaurants and shops within a 5 minute walk. Front Office staff were particularly impressive - constantly friendly, and quick to assist in organizing activities that I wanted to do around the island, so that made it easy. Did not eat lunch or dinner here, hover the breakfast quality and range was good, without being brilliant.

Hotel's Favourite
My wife and I have just spent 14 glorious days at Coco Palm. This was our third visit, our last being in 2014. Having recently reopened following a period of COVID closure, the hotel is definitely running to its previously high standards. We have travelled the world extensively and rarely come across such, professional, counties and friendly staff. On our arrival we were greeted by Annaman who treated us as old friends and continued to be friendly and assist us throughout our stay. The lovely Tisa in reception was also very friendly and greeted us with a smile and a hello every day. Shannon our waitress was lovely and made us feel very welcome during our visits to the dining room. Last but definitely not least was Kevin the Barman who tended to all our refreshment needs ! A lovely courteous young man who’s company we very much enjoyed. As ever the food at Coco Palm was up to the highest standards and well presented. We stayed in Room 117, a ground floor garden room with access to the beautifully kept gardens. If you are considering booking a stay at this hotel don’t consider any longer just Book It ! Will we be back ? YES ! see you all again next year and many thanks Coco Palm for another fantastic holiday.

We were very excited about visiting Coco Palm, especially with all the great reviews. Sadly for us the stay didn't get off to a great start, when after 20 hours of travelling we arrived to find that the cot we'd ordered for our room wasn't in place (even though we'd checked 3 times and had it in writing) and that our room wasn't as described with closing doors between the two spaces. We were told the cot would be sorted whilst at dinner ( i will come back to the restaurant later) and that the queries we had about our bill (we were asked to pay at check in but they were unable to explain the costs on the bill) would be sorted the following day. Returning over 2 hours later we found no cot and were told there wasn't one available until the following day. At this point i lost it, as we have an 8 month old and where was he supposed to sleep? Miraculously when i lost my temper one appeared. Throughout our week we experienced a litany of administrational errors and every time we explained something to one person, no-one else was told and we had to start again with someone else the following day. We had no end of problems with our bill (we were also covering 2 other parties bills) and our families were billed for things we'd specifically asked to be sent to us. Furthermore one of the airport transfers we arranged via the hotel failed to turn up entirely and my brother in law had to take a cab he found at the airport. On that, the transfers were expensive and absolutely dreadful quality cars; we had a range of taxis during our 2 weeks on the island and those were by far the worst. They were also more expensive than if you just take one you find when you arrive. The restaurant; i don't know what to say. We had originally booked the all inclusive but we backed out after day 1. We ended up having to complete 3 days of the all inclusive and in the 6 meals we ate there in that time the quickest we ever received a dish was 65 minutes after ordering it - this was fast. The last meal we had there we waited 94 minutes to receive one course. No joke. The food was very very average and incredibly expensive and the menu did not change once all week. Eating two meals a day in a restaurant where the menu doesn't change gets pretty old pretty fast. On the plus side there were some lovey friendly staff who worked there, this however was offset by a couple of frankly incredibly rude staff - one man in particular who was flat out rude every time we asked him anything and made interactions very unpleasant. We were very happy to be relieved of our all inclusive and we found some excellent restaurants very nearby - Matthews in the mall next door, Spinnakers down on the beach and the Taco place (which is literally a hole in the wall!) all provided really much more delicious food at quarter of the price (and quarter of the wait!!!). All in all our stay was disappointing; some nice staff were hindered by the few really rude ones, bad communication caused endless problems for us and the restaurant really is bad - if you stay, i would highly recommend not doing the all inclusive as you're centrally located and can easily find other much better restaurants. From what we were told in our second week when we were staying elsewhere, they've suffered from Covid, had to shut one of their restaurants (obviously when there were 2 there would have been much more choice) and are clearly suffering staffing issues. That said the wait times at dinner and lunch were baffling - there was often a lot of staff around and no clear reason for the long waits (unless they were short staffed in the kitchen but no-one made this clear). The hotel is well located and our room was very nicely done (and the door issue was solved very fast and very effectively by Anaman). The pool is nice and you have easy access to the malls and the lovely lovely beach. That said, we were all relieved to move for our second week and for the amount of money it cost, we were very underwhelmed.

We very much enjoyed our 7 days at Coco Palm. The swim up suites were awesome. The food & drink were tasty and the staff were super friendly and kind. The shower faucet & AC did need fixing, but management had it done the same day. I was impressed. We will totally return! Love how close it is the Reduit Beach, too.

My husband and I have just returned from the Coco Palm after a fabulous two week stay. It was our third stay with them, the previous being in 2008 and 2019. All the team were great and we were well looked after from me contacting them the day before our arrival to make changes to our booking, through to booking trips and finding out more information for us. The food was great, especially the omlettes and plantains at breakfast 🙂. We also had tasty meals at lunch and in the evenings. The room we had was perfect with modern furnishings and it was quiet facing the gardens for us. You can easily pop out shopping or for a bite to eat from the hotel and the lovely sandy Reduit beach is a five minute walk away. A taxi to Pigeon Island is also easy to get where you can either climb to the two view points of Rodney Fort and Signal Point or just chill on the beach. We are so looking forward to a return visit already, as we feel part of the Coco Palm family and we love St Lucia x.

(Written from the perspective of a young couple with a low budget in July 2022) Upon booking this hotel I was quite concerned. Many of the reviews referred to outdated furnishings as well as a chronic noise problem. We are currently on day 3 of our stay at the coco creole village (which was deemed the epicentre of these issues) and could not disagree more The hotel has clearly been recently renovated and the rooms in the coco creole match the standards of most 4 star resorts I have stayed in within the region The staff are for the most part incredibly polite and kind, especially the security staff. Our only non-positive interaction was with one bar staff member but everyone has off days and that can be excused! The breakfast offered as part of the package is excellent and consists of options which branch traditional Lucian cuisine as well as European classics, catering to every pallate For the price point, I can safely say that this hotel is unmatched among most hotels in St lucia and is an excellent option for travellers on a budget!

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and taking the time to share your detailed account of all that we offer. Most importantly, we appreciate you defying the previous reviews and booking your stay. We do indeed offer rooms at our Kreole block which is our lead in price without compromising! These rooms are particularly popular for those looking to enjoy a bit more eco friendly true Caribbean rooms with access to all the facilities of the newer Palm rooms at a bargain price! Your review will be shared with our team who will all take enormous pride in knowing how much you enjoyed our hospitality. Most of all, your detailed review will no doubt help future guests to get a true sense of what we offer. Thank You!

We had booked our trip in 2019 but after the pandemic we finally made it in June this year and we were really pleased that we hadn't cancelled. Everything was perfect, all the staff were lovely and couldn't have made us feel more welcome. The room was great and the bed was huge! Food was delicious and we were lucky enough to be there for the Fathers day celebrations which was very well organised. It's only a short walk to the beach and shops. We would definitely recommend the Coco palm for a relaxing and great break.
