The cleaning of the room was satisfactory. When I arrived, the room was welcoming. The breakfast was satisfactory and the staff friendly. The music played in the dining area was soothing and pleasant. The waiters/waitresses were very courteous and pleasant.

Hotel's Favourite
My family had a blast at the Bay Gardens Beach Resort and Spa for 1 week in late January. The resort is beautiful. The Hi-Tide restaurant is airy, situated perfectly between the beach and the pool and has the most delicious, artfully-presented, healthy, fresh and plentiful meals. The beach is clean and has breath-taking sunsets. The staff members are friendly, attentive and helpful. The Splash Park is tons of fun and a challenge for the whole family. The Spa is relaxing and rejuvenating. The shower water made me hair feel silky and amazing. The towels were very clean and fresh without any chemical residue smell. We would love to go back!

The overall stay was okay. The rooms were spacious. The beach view was amazing and the water was clear. Dinner was ridiculously overpriced for such small portions and I personally did not enjoy the taste of it.

Although this hotel is in a good location right on the beach the Service is very poor! We were AI and the only good area is the bar, excellent staff who made our stay bearable! We had a deluxe room which was comfortable & clean. The restaurant staff need proper training as service was bad from day one which we made frontline staff aware of but did not improve. Being AI we expected a varied menu but no, only breakfast was buffet, lunch & dinner menu was the same set one throughout our 10 day stay which waiting times from ordering was was long, one night gave up waiting after an hour & food was eventually sent to room at 10.40pm 2hrs after ordering! We both had upset stomach’s last 4 days. Evening entertainment was little or nonexistent due to it being low season we were told which should not be the case! If you want to relax in peace stay in the pool area not the beach as the same vendors approach you every time, some can be quite intimidating and security do not intervene. Management were only made aware of the issues from our Rep as frontline staff did not make them aware so only time will tell if things improve!

We have just returned from a 2 week stay at this lovely hotel. Family run, it is just the right size and the rooms (we had a beach front suite) are lovely. It was really refreshing to go to an all inclusive resort which wasn’t 100% buffet service - breakfast was some of the time depending on occupancy levels. We had seen some comments about wait times for food but this wasn’t a particular issue for us - firstly remember you are in the laid back Caribbean and secondly it’s not a hardship to chill with a drink whilst waiting. One of the challenges for the hotel clearly is that clients from other hotels in the group can visit the beach and so clearly this put the pressure on the restaurant on some occasions. That said they coped admirably - special shout out to Kelvin who was fantastic! The rooms are lovely - we had a washing machine which was a real perk, with a living area and kitchenette. At this time of year sunbeds were plentiful and it was easy to book the spa and Watersports. The Seagrapes restaurant was open some of the time and when it wasn’t the menu was available in the main restaurant. Beach is lovely - security are present all the time and the vendors are fine - they are trying to make a living but are not aggressive about it. It’s worth buying a bracelet or 2! We went on a couple of excursions - one with the Watersports guys on a speedboat which took us to all the sites including the mud baths, the spas and waterfall - the joy of the smaller boat was that we hugged the coastline and saw some amazing sights. A trip to Rum distillery is worth doing! It’s a morning trip and involves lots of tasting…… Housekeeping were excellent - it was my husband’s birthday while we were away and they gave us champagne. All in all this is a great low key resort and we loved it - will definitely return. A big thanks to all who made our stay lovely: Kelvin, Felix, Christian, Shermani, Damiola, Fabiola, Irene, Angela & Trenton to name a few!

Beach location and staff at the pool bar were the highlight. This could have been a much better experience. The food was not what I expected as limited to 1 restaurant for most of the trip. Cost of things very high. Don't leave food in your room as ants will be all over it. Keep food in refrigerator! My negative tour excursion sealed it for me. 15 people on it jad the same negative view and management did nothing to rectify the situation. This wasnt good enough for the expense paid. I wouldnt recommended this hotel for a celebration.

Music is great. Particularly at the right time and the right type. However when having lunch or sitting by the pool I don't expect to have to shout to have a conversation or for the sound to be turned up and the person in charge of the music to walk away clearly having no idea how loud it is. Indeed when we asked to have it turned down she said what pardon because funnily enough she couldn't hear us. Don't want it turned off. Just reasonable background music. When she turned it off we realised there was another music system playing in the bar/restaurant. All I'm saying is don't expect peace and quiet throughout the day.

Ideally located on Reduit Beach, the resort is superbly managed by Waltrude Patrick. Our beachfront suite was clean, spacious and comfortable. Food and drink options were plentiful. All of our meals were delicious. There were enough loungers for everyone. The pool area and gardens were well kept.Without exception, the staff were friendly and helpful. Every meal was delicious and every drink prepared and served with pride. Recommended!

Bay Gardens was a wonderful atmosphere right on the ocean. Staff was great. This resort is not like the large ones where it is just swamped with guest. We had our space when we wanted it and we’re able to be around a crowd if we pleased. Overall, we will be returning!
