We arrived to a warm friendly welcome from Sharon who was expecting us and didn't even want to see paperwork. The two storey rooms had everything we could have wanted complete with NZ wine in the fridge and a huge spa on the veranda set to 40 and overlooking Whale Bay and the forested hillside. Our GPS had given us...

Stayed on Moana which was a two bedroom self contained very nice unit to stay in. There was no real ocean views but this was made up of a nice garden back drop off the back decking where the heated spa was located. The host Sharon appeared shy and not overall interactive with us during our stay. She would deliver...

Great self-contained two bedroom apartments with beach views and spa tub. About 12 mins out of Raglan (which is a small surfy/arty community with great butcher shop, and fish shop on the pier and numerous restaurants etc.). Very nice living dining area with Fisher & Paykal fridge/oven / hotplates/dishwasher. Lovely little package gift on arrival. Sharon helped with any enquiries...

There are not enough superlatives to describe how good Waoku Lodge is for relaxation! Sharon makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. The hospitality at Waoku Lodge goes beyond being simply professional - the lodge is a fabulous place to stay in, but more importantly - because of Sharon, it's a safe haven from the busy-ness of...

From my first encounter with Sharon I knew this was going to be a great place to stay. Hospitality and customer service was very obvious. We were not disappointed when we arrived and was greeted to a warm and comfortable cabin with atmosphere set for relaxation. Our home cooked meal of lamb shanks was served straight from the oven and...

My husband and I have had a busy winter of work and needed a break. We chose Waoku Lodge. The hospitality was exceptional without invading your privacy. The rooms well appointed and we had one of the best winter breaks in NZ ever. I would recommend without hesitation.

I treated my partner to a night away. Communication before our stay was friendly and professional. I asked about a few things prior and everything was accommodated for. Sharon was very friendly but unobtrusive (perfect mix). We stayed in Matangi apartment which was beautiful. Fantastic seaviews from the spa and lovely outside decking. There's even an outdoor heater. Apartment was...

My husband and I recently stayed for a three night escape. This was a luxury escape purchase which was gifted to me for my birthday. The property itself is very nice. We were in the Ahi Apartment. This is a two bedroom apartment but not really suitable for four. Not private enough. Nice for the two of us. This is...

My wife and I enjoyed 3 nights at Waoku Lodge recently, using a DailyDo voucher special. The Lodge was fully booked (it is boutique) in the weekends so we had to book in Monday-Wednesday, in the Whenua Room, which I chose for its amazing views I saw online. This is a lovely room, with plenty of space in the combined...

We spent an amazing weekend here during winter. Spottless and warm. The heat pump was great! Our particular lodge had a private spa looking over the water which was awesome. The staff are very knowledgable of the area and were able to organise curtesy transport to a lovely restaurant 'The wharf'.
