Poggio a Poppi must be one of the nicest places to stay in the Casentino with its beautiful views over the hills and the old walled town of Poppi a few kilometres away. The lovely old stone building has well appointed en suite bedrooms and from the dining area, where one experiences the delights of Beatrice’s culinary skills, there is...

The hotel is very well located, only a few minutes by car away from Poppi. Service from the young couple running the hotel is very kind. We were located in the 'Abelardo and Eloisa' room. The room was big, super clean and nice. The bathroom was huge! All very well taken care of. The swimming pool area is also nice,...

The agritourismo is situated just in front of the lovely village of Poppi with a magnificent view on the castle of Poppi ( definitely worth seeing). The appartements are large and nicely renovated with a well equipped kitchen ( dishwasher:)).The breakfast is very authentic...

We stayed at Poggio a Poppi for 2 nights. The place is nicely located on a hill with a beautiful view. The room was spacious and nicely decorated in the Tuscany style. The bathroom was clean and very modern. The entire property seems to have been recently renovated. Especially nice was the food. The meals were traditional Tuscany dished accompanied...

We have stayed at Poggio for a week in august and loved every second of our stay. The apartments were even better as we expected. Spacious, clean and very stylish. The owners, Gino and Silvana, treated us like family. Since my wife cooks on a regular basis on a commercial level, she took several cooking courses while I enjoyed some...

Nice place, friendly owner, big room with a great bathroom and clean! The breakfast is very good! with lots of homemade cakes and jams. Good location with a view at Poppi and Bibiena. Nice swimming pool. To explore the surroundings you need your car! The bed is not so comfortable and it was pretty hot in our room (no airco).

We spent one night as a base to explore La Verna the next day. For that purpose, it was a little remote, but not unpleasant as the drive was very scenic. The room was pretty, clean, and with a wonderful view of the hill town's castle. We ate dinner there, which was a good idea because it was relaxing and...

This is an amazing hotel. We cannot fault it in anyway. We stayed here for 8 nights this summer with friends and family as we were getting married in the castle in Poppi. Gino (the owner) and his wife were the perfect hosts and made us all very welcome. The scenery, rooms, pool, food and hospitality are all top notch....
