After 3 visits to Ikos Olivia, this was our first visit to Ikos Aria and it certainly won't be our last. Ikos Aria is an absolutely beautiful hotel in the most stunning of locations. With immaculately kept grounds, a wide sandy beach, crystal clear seas and views of the beautiful island, we loved to relax on the beach and walk around the resort and take in the views. Our Deluxe Junior Suite was spacious with a large bath as well as shower, a comfortable bed and sofa bed, lots of storage and a private garden with sofa, chairs and sunloungers. Our room was kept spotless throughout our stay by the housekeeping team and we loved relaxing in our room during the early evening. We spent every morning on the deluxe beach where we had great fun on the pedalos, kayaks and paddleboards and were looked after by the brilliant Achilleas and Dimitris who remembered and always ensured we had drinks and were ever so kind to our little boy. Our afternoons were spent at the main pool where my little boy had lots of fun in all 3 pools (splash pool, children’s pool and main pool) and we were looked after by the fantastic Theo, Dimitra and Rafaela. Each were so attentive and each made my little boys stay extra special in a different way - my little boy is still asking when he can next see Theo. We enjoyed meals in each of the a la carte restaurants and loved the diversity available at dinner. We found food to be of a very high standard across the resort but our favourite restaurants were Oliva, Fresco and Provence where we had brilliant service from Stefanos in Fresco, Nikos in Seasons/Fresco and Karolina in Seasons. A final big thank you must go to Karina (guest relations manager), Dimitris (front of house) and Panos (rooms division manager). Each of them made our stay as a family really special and we are so grateful for all they did. I would not hesitate in returning to Ikos Aria and we look forward to another stay (or two!) next year.

We have not long returned home from a week long visit to Ikos Aria. The main factor in making these hotels so great is the staff. From start to finish the staff were incredible. I will mention a few throughout my review but they all really are amazing. When checking in we were greeted and made to feel special right away. We were welcomed with a glass of Prosecco and shown to our rooms when we were ready. Throughout our stay we visited Fresco twice, Anaya, Ouzo, Provence and Oliva. It would be hard to pick a favourite as they all had something for everyone. Food was amazing and we never had a bad meal. We were able to make amendments to meals if we wished and also were able to order more than 1 dish and we were never made to feel as though we couldn’t. The first night we visited the buffet and even that couldn’t be faulted. Stefanos in Fresco and Georgia in Ouzo provided particularly incredible service. We ate at flavours every morning for breakfast and a few times for lunch. Imran, Moccas and Anna provided good service here. Rashid who cooks the omelettes of a morning was also great and a favourite of all of ours. There is a good selection of breakfast here, from pastry’s to fry ups, fruit etc. For lunch we either visited flavours which always had a variety of options available or we had lunch around the pool which we found to be our favourite. On our last day we visited the bbq at Ouzo which we thoroughly enjoyed. The settings here is also great. Throughout the day we stayed around the pool next to the kids splash pad as we travelled with 2 young children. The service around this pool was great, there were at least 2/3 waiters at all times and we never felt as though we were waiting too long for drink because as we finished one they were ready to take our next order. Giannis, Costas and Kaira all provided great service here. Costas also provided some great cocktail recommendations which became a favourite throughout. Theo who organises the beds/ towels was also great. He also worked in Ouzo on the evening we visited and provided great service yet again. We did however spend one day around the beach pool. This is a larger pool with a lot more sun beds but on the day we visited there were only 2 members of staff taking orders. This could be due to the season coming to an end but we felt as though we were waiting a while for drinks and the service generally wasn’t as good (which of course wasn’t their fault and they we’re working as fast/hard as they could) but something to note. We spent our evenings in the main bar. We heard that they had shut another bar which is usually open due to it being the end of season. This made getting a seat in the main bar after dinner very difficult but we always seemed to manage it as a party of 9. Pandora and Theodora provided excellent service every night. Overall, the hotel really cannot be faulted for anything major that would ruin your holiday. There were a few minor issues but nothing that would stop us from going back. The grounds are beautiful, you are greeted by every member of staff as you walk around which feels special. We can’t wait to return.

This resort is the best place we have ever visited and we have already booked for next year. It is an amazing resort and the standards are exceptionally high. The best food we have ever experienced on a holiday and the staff are all friendly and helpful. Particularly Panos, Rooms Manager, he was invaluable and could not do enough for us. All the restaurants are fantastic but the staff in Seasons were incredible. Highly recommended - you will not regret it !

We have just returned from an amazing 7 nights in Aria, having previously visited for 14 nights back in August.  The standard continues to be exceptional and there is definitely something special about this place which just pulls you back time and time again.  Some key comments from us include:   ·         The weather in October was generally good, but clearly not as warm or sunny as August. There were some guests complaining about the weather but this is simply the risk you take outside peak season and is why the cost in October is less than 50% of August! It didn’t stop us doing anything we had planned. ·         Seasons restaurant was our clear favourite for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Elena, Karolina and team (Alda, Lina, Marina etc) do an incredible job and worked tirelessly to make our experience memorable. Special mention to Alda and Karolina who really do go above and beyond. To illustrate this, our daughter was crying on the flight home because she was going to miss Alda and Karolina so much. This says it all.   ·         Food and service in all restaurants is great and consistent in terms of quality.  We didn’t visit Kos this time (was our least favourite back in August) and we declined the beach dinner as we preferred being in a restaurant setting. ·         The service at the deluxe pool was always excellent, with Paris and Anastasia working incredibly hard to keep everyone happy.  They are fantastic! ·         The deluxe vs non-deluxe debate is a constant on the Aria Facebook page.  The standard of food and service is the same regardless, however the room, location, deluxe pool area, spa treatment, advanced booking of restaurants and the ability to use Seasons is worth the extra in our opinion. Minor niggles for us would be the beach which doesn’t compare to Indian Ocean and the seating at the beach dinner which is just not comfortable.  My husband also wasn’t able to take advantage of the complimentary spa treatment as there were no suitable times available, however special mention to Martha in Deluxe who left some complimentary Anne Semonin products in our room as a surprise.  Really thoughtful and another example of excellent service.  Ikos really has created somewhere special with Aria however it is the kind, genuine, positive and extremely hard working staff such as Alda and Karolina in Seasons who make this resort so memorable. If you are thinking of booking, don’t hesitate and I guarantee you will be planning a return visit just as quickly as you can manage!
