The hotel is in an idyllic location in Kors, right by the private beach. The hotel security is next to none with current covid checks upon return to the establishment very stringent. The rooms have seen better days and having had the 2 bedroom apartment,The run down decor is definitely a let down and not warranting 5 star The rooms were very dusty, had to ask for our rooms to be cleaned and dirty dishes taken away which was a hazard with glasses laying about for days by the private pools. The food is standard buffet with rather disappointing variety for such a rated hotel. The place is ideal for small kids with entertainment every night for younger audience and adults too as cocktails are amazing. The restaurants on site are OK but very basic. The staff are what holds this hotel, very friendly and welcoming, definitely made the stay memorable

I really have no clue where to start. My daughter had her wedding here. After spending thousands of euros on the event, guests left the reception hungry. The food was terrible. Small portions and tasteless. Reception finished at 9pm, and there was nowhere open on the resort to get anything to eat. That was only the start of it. I am a wheelchair user. I booked our room at the Resort via their app and there didnt appear to be an option to book a wheelchair accessible room. As it's a 5* resort, I inadvertently assumed that perhaps there were an adequate supply of these rooms available. So, I arrived in reception to check in and it was obvious to all concerned that I was in a wheelchair! I checked in and took the buggy to the room, only to find that it was inaccessible for me, as I had to leave my chair outside a steep kerb, and walk some 12 feet or so to gain access to the room. Apparently, the whole thing (according to the Resort Manager, Ioannis Morasis) was my fault, as I should have put in a "note" on the app to request a mobility friendly room. But surely the receptionist (who knew the layout of the resort much better than I - as it was my first and last trip there) should have perhaps suggested another room for me, more suitable? Nothing was said. And to pour salt in an open wound, there were these "mats" spread throughout the resort, that made pushing me particularly difficult, as the mats had a raised lip on them which caught the base of my chair on 2 occasions, and I nearly tipped out. Thankfully, to the quick thinking and kindness of some other Resort guests, they moved the mats away for me to enable my husband to manoeuvre past them. This Resort is not suitable for anyone who has mobility issues and when I raised this with the Manager, I was told that everything is as it should be and the problem is with me. Tourist money pit. If you want good customer service, good food, don't stay somewhere that charges you €200+ a night, only to be made to feel insignificant and just a number.

We stayed at the Blue Lagoon Village for 2 weeks 6 October to 20 October on a much needed and delayed break. We found the good points well earned. Staff were friendly and hard working. Cleanliness was kept to very high standard indeed. I wish some of our catering establishments were so dedicated. I always found plenty to tempt me in the food department. The weather was quite hot when we were there and I can thoroughly recommend the Blue Lagoon Special cocktail as a cooling and very refreshing drink. The only problem, which distracts form the good points, is the there was no segregation of smokers in the outdoor eating areas. The weather being warm, a lot of people wanted to eat outdoors but their enjoyment was degraded somewhat by the very few smokers who paid no attention to the needs and comfort of the majority of the other guests and small children in their surrounds. I found the mattress a bit too soft for my liking but that's personal taste. KOS airport on departure was a bit of a nightmare. Only 2 passport check desks and only one was manned to deal with queuing Gatwick and Manchester departures/ We were confined to a stuffy virtually airless tunnel to get to the desk.

My feelings echo a lot of the previous reviews so I will keep it relatively punchy. The good: - Setting is beautiful, the resort is down a mountain with nothing else around, so the view from every angle is stunning. The resort is also very private for this reason - Lovely and clean, especially the communal areas. All toilets are kept spotless - Plenty of amenities - There are bars and toilets everywhere, the resort is huge but you are never far from the essentials - Pools (this is going to come up in the good and the bad!) - they are plentiful and look so appealing, with plenty of loungers - The staff are all friendly and helpful, they did the best they good with the sometimes lacking offerings The bad: - Pools - Ice cold, as said by so many others. They really are freezing, imagine one of those plunge pools that are intended for a swift 20 second dip! My 5 year old was so looking forward to going swimming on holiday, he went in the first day and never again. Went on one slide in the waterpark and gave up because it was too cold. This was the biggest letdown for us, the resort is very remote, and without being able to use the pools, there really wasn't enough to do. The hotel need to address this, I appreciate they can't literally control the weather, but pools need heating to make them useable in the later months of the year; we're still paying full price but can't use the main selling point of this resort - Food - You could always find something to eat and the food on the whole was nice, but never hot. The Chinese restaurant was nice, the BBQ was a bit different and nice meat, however the Italian was awful; the food was terrible, the bruschetta was tomatoes on toast, and the calzone was like a doughy pie filled with the ham and cheese you find at breakfast. The staff also didn't seem to know what was going on in this restaurant, you had to keep prompting, such as we had been sat for half an hour and we had to ask for a menu and to order drinks. This was the only restaurant where the food really was bad and the service was poor, everywhere else was 'OK' The snack bar was nice, but the wait was always long and they only offered toasties, crepes and hot dogs, there really should have been more options throughout the day rather than full buffet - Food timings - if you didn't get to the buffet for 9pm, you didn't eat. There were no later offerings, no snacks etc, - Entertainment - the team did really try, but the evening entertainment was lacking, and the daytime entertainment was non-existent from what we could see. The evening shows were the same team dancing to different themed music every night, the only particularly entertaining night was the movie quiz night where guests got involved, and you had two team captains on stage who had ouzo shots as forfeits, this was far more entertaining, do more of this!! - The location is beautiful to look at, but very remote. There is nothing in walking distance. We hired a car on 2 of the days which I would highly recommend, the island is really small so takes no time to get around and find things. We had 2 trips to Kos town, went to Zia and Paradise Beach, I would recommend all locations Overall, I would say the hotel is lovely and really does have so much potential, if they upped the service and entertainment options so there was more to do, it could be a 5 star. But currently, its 4 star at very best

We stayed for 10 nights from the 13 th Oct and had a room with a jacuzzi on the Balcony which was enjoyed by all especially our 5 year old Granddaughter Now the previous reviews reflect in most cases how the facilities etc are so no need for me to repeat the obvious.I have given 4 stars not 5 not because of any major issues but the Housekeeping team must have ongoing issues within their dept that made them unable to replenish any toiletries (loo roll excluding) or tea/coffee from the 2nd day onwards despite us complaining to Reception many times during our stay really not what you expect from a 5 star hotel, we ended up visiting the hotel shop (not cheap as previous reviews have said) spending over 25 Euros to get what should be provided as standard. What is worth 5 stars are the following colleagues ( to be said all colleagues serving in the bars restaurants, reception, porters were very good and attentive and must be trained well to deliver such service) Firstly Alina in Mythos at breakfast always happy and cheerful Tomi a great Bar manager in the Bar adjacent to Mythos Christopher in the Italian for evening dinner and the Ocean Restaurant for Lunch Magda in the Chinese for evening dinner and the Ocean Restaurant for lunch Thanks for looking after us Lastly the Star of the show Elli in the Aegean Restaurant for Breakfast and Dinner nothing is too much trouble for her great customer service and interaction thanks
