The staff try their best !! Stops at that.(Room) Had to change rooms and the new room was still not good. Lights missing in the ''bathroom'' Shower was disgusting. No latch to keep the bathroom door closed. Each morning had a great sewer smell in...More
We spent 2 weeks at Don Lino earlier this month & we are returning April 4. We were totally comfortable & enjoyed our stay. This resort is a wee jewel - food is basic, accommodations are fine. This will be our 18th trip to Cuba...More
Second year to this location. Noted upgrades in outdoor lighting, beach, buffet selection, new sinks and toilets (with seats on most). Spent first night in an upper bungalow with no air conditioner remote, but there were blankets. Moved to requested beach front room next day....More
Improvements are notable. More lodging, new restaurant. Great place for quiet, uneventful vacation. The food was better than previous visits. Hi, I was there at Christmas. The only public bathrooms at that time were at the lobby and at the main dining room (they were at least nice and new). The old dining room and bar were still closed but I'm not sure how they'll be reused.
I am one of those people who actually likes the Don Lino, preferring it to the larger resorts because, really, few spend time there other to eat and sleep. The staff is good and the accommodation, for an all-inclusive, is good enough for the price (the bathrooms could really use some upgrading).
I've reviewed it twice, if you'd like to check out what I've written.
