We just returned from Sol Rio and it was fantastic! Right from the check in to the check out we had a great experience. Belkys whom I was in touch with before our trip made sure everything was perfect. When we checked in the lady informed us there were not enough rooms as we had booked 2 so they upgraded...

My husband and I chose this hotel in Cuba for our wedding after a recommendation from someone in the UK. We were a little disappointed on arrival to find the '4 star' hotel had very dated and old fashioned rooms including and old style TV which we asked to be changed and told there was no flat screen ones available,...

We have been to resorts at Mexico - Riviera Maya 3 times, but we have decided to go to Cuba on this trip. A lot of my comparisons will be to Mexico, as all of our experiences at Mexico hotels are quite consistent. Airport Arrival - 1 / 5 One of the XRAY machines was broken so there is was...

Very nice hotel and the beach . Friendly stuff . Delicious food . Highly recommended . I especially recommend going for Green path experience with Thomas Cook. If you want to see beautiful countryside of Cuba and taste some fresh fruits and Cuban style espresso.

We stayed here from 24.1.17-7.2.17 and was extremely impressed by the hotel and particularly the amazing data who couldn't do enough for you. We had two rooms in the main mares building which was great for accessing everything. There were renovations being done to the rooms but this didn't really affect us as we were either at the beach or...

Cuba is a lovely place the beaches we saw were lovely and all the people are lovely inside the hotel and outside they are extremely friendly. This hotel may be a good hotel when refurbished but at the moment is definitely not four star. I have been to third world destinations where the toilet facilities were better. The toilets in...

First time at this hotel but 4th trip to Cuba. Other trips were to Varadero. This was a great choice! We stayed on the Mares side which is the one with the most activity around the pool and lobby area. The downfall of this side was that the toilet facilities in the lobby were under construction during our stay so...

We just got home from the most eventful trip ever. We originally booked at Memories through Sunwing but switched to Luna Mares due to the fact that there are no bathtubs there and I needed one for an injury that I have. We went to the Sunwing desk on the first day and asked to switch resorts to the Blue...

“I found the rooms to be very cozy & had all that we needed, we always came back to a clean room. The bathrooms are a little worn & perhaps could be updated. Otherwise I was satisfied with them. I had a great view from the balcony & it was very quite & peace full at all times”
