We booked an overnight stay while visiting the British Master Golf tournament and knew this was in the area. The setting is great and known to us as we lived in the area but it could be a little difficult to find. The house has an interesting history but was extended some years ago to become a conference venue, therefore...

Other hotels I've stayed at with similarly large grounds can show signs of dilapidation, but here the hotel is well maintained to a very high quality in the face of what must be a demanding feat to uphold. Despite getting lost a few times I enjoyed my short business stay and will come again.

We were let down during the initial planning phase due to change of wedding coordinator, which lead to some last minute panic. Also we were only told part of the venue was closed for renovation after we booked for our wedding. However, the venue did their best to compensate for their inconvenience. On the day, Patrick the event manager and...

We were on a weekend away with our church family and this place is a delight in a stunning location. The food was superb but pace yourself because there is lots of it! Certainly a great value way to have a weekend break as long as you dont mind groups of people being around the site for their meetings and...

This is a nice hotel in an old mansion house, found this place on a specialist hotels site, and booked it. The only problem I had was I could not find my rooms building as I was told it was over the road, which I discovered was the conference centre. Once I found my room I was very happy with...

My stay is business related. Currently in my room. I am so annoyed I am writing this review whilst in bed. So although the conference facilities are ok the issues I have are: 1. The luggage room is unlocked and anyone could take whichever bag they wanted. There were no tags given and anyone could walk in. 2. The water...

It took us a bit to find this gorgeous manor house buried seemingly deep in the woods of Chesham in the daylight, I can't imagine trying to do it in the dark. The room was nice the bathroom was pretty but both were on the smaller side. The staff was helpful, friendly and informative. The food was very good and...

Returned to hotel after a poor first stay, this time with the family. Really enjoyed our stay although restaurant opening times restrictive for a young family, but bar meal was satisfactory. Just returned home from this location. Things I really liked: amazing location/ view, really nice staff, amazing pool/ sauna, very good coffee and treats, overall relaxing place. Things I liked less: not as clean as I'd expect (I'm obsessive compulsive though, so maybe it's just me!), no heating (at the beginning of October) - was really chilly in the room!
