This is a very special hotel. It is apparent from the moment you step inside that this hotel was designed with tremendous thought, taste and creativity. All the wonderful glowing reviews (if you care to read them all) reflect that Eva and Jesus know a thing or two about the hospitality industry and their mission is to make your stay...

Cal Sastre is a lovely, charming boutique hotel that was renovated in a wing of the old castle in Santa Pau. Eva is warm and friendly and eager to accommodate her guests. The room was large and wonderfully appointed and comfortable. We had dinner at the restaurant on-site and it was delicious and our every need was anticipated and attended...

We stayed for 4 nights at Cal Sastre and thoroughly enjoyed it. Eva was very welcoming on our arrival and throughout our stay. We chose a suite so we had ample room with sitting area, wide views across the small valley below, a huge bed with beautifully painted bedhead, and a very comfortable and effective shower-cum-sauna for two! We peeped...

The only hotel in a lovely mountain village, right in the center, between the serrated peaks of the Catalan Pyrenees. Village Hotel Cal Sastre, owners Jesús and Eva Pont, is a place of hospitality and proofs that you should not linger around in Barcelona. Very special: you are here far into the hinterland but this - recently renovated hotel in...

Great stay, 2 nights. Friendly personel, excellent room. Newly reformed, nice pastel colours. Sastre means Tailor, they have a few sowing details throughout the hotel. Free Wifi that actually worked. Recomended!

We actually picked this place because it was full every where else. Nice surprise. It is indeed a higher range of lodging but you have to consider the included breakfast. The initial place is currently under construction and this one was completely renovated in December 2015. Nice quiet and right in the middle of Santa Pau. Highly recommend it.

We were invited to stay in the newly finished, restored house in Placa Major next fo the restaurant. We had a suite on the first floor. It was huge but it had to be to fit an enormous bed. In addition to the lovely greeting, the room was well supplied with power sockets by the bed, bottled water and toiletries....

We stayed at the hotel and had dinner at the restaurant. The hotel was probably the bee's knees 25 or 30 years ago, but is in dire need of renovation. Staff pleasant and helpful, but service, including bar, finishes at 9 pm. Way over - priced. Pleasant garden.

We truly enjoyed our stay in the small boutique Cal Sastre hotel, with its nice interior design and very friendly owner. Nice breakfast with healthy choices. Good and comfortable rooms (if possible: ask the owner for a stay in the terrace room).
