As you will note from the other reviews the reason most stay here is to take a break from walking the Camino de Santiago. By this time many will have walked 25 days and been subject to sleepless nights in dormitories of 40 people, putting up with snoring and constant disruption particularly as people get up before the crack of... Extremely friendly staff - the owner & receptionist, Marga in particular went out of their way to be helpful The room was comfortable, spacious and had all mod cons. Wifi worked well but you need to keep logging in as you move around the hotel, a minor inconvenience. The bar showed all the La Liga live matches. And the breakfast... More

Stayed here for one night while walking the Camino. The hotel has everything you need with great air conditioning, big rooms, a bath and shower and even a makeshift clothesline on the roof of the hotel, amidst the air conditioning units, where pilgrims can dry their clothes! But what makes this hotel special is the warmth of the welcome you... More

This is a clean, quite and modern hotel in what I thought was a cowboy town. Definetly the best place to stay in cacabelos. Clean rooms. Didn't eat at this establishment so can't comment on the food but the restaurant looked very clean.

I am so so happy to have discovered this lovely, affordable oasis of comfort on the Camino. Got a great night sleep. Long luxurious shower with modern shower technology. And the lady who ran the front desk was SO sweet, providing directions and recommendations, in addition to just having a great and welcoming presence. I don't want to leave!

La Moncloua recommended this place. The hotel is Spartan, clean and sufficient. The staff was the best part as they were helpful and responsive. The breakfast is basic. The location is great for the camino.

On arrival the hotel staff were very accomodating and despite the language barrier (given my poor Spanish and their non existent English) I was made to feel very accomodating and was show to the room. The room itself was very large, very clean and contained all mod cons (Wi Fi, TV, window shutters). The breakfast was very basic (cereals, bread,... More

In my search for the perfect Camino hotel this comes close. Friendly checkin, modern building and rooms, convenient to many bars and restaurants, not too far from the Camino. Shower was hot and strong but had a weird overhead rose where the water just poured out rather than sprayed. The room was large and clean. The French doors opened to... More

Attracted by the huge billboards as we approached the city, we decided to check into the Hotel Villa de Cacabelos. We were warmly welcomed, and our room was clean and comfortable. Desk staff were very helpful as to choices of nearby restaurants. It was a welcome break from the alburgues we had been staying at.
