I spent here a month in summer 2021 (June) and a month (October) in autumn 2021. Well – that I stayed here four weeks and returned in autumn – it already tells that I enjoyed my stay in 7 Fells Hostel. I would say – I love this place: the warm atmosphere, unique enivornment, lovely staff, those king-sized beds, cozy living room, sauna possibilities, great location... I'm already planning my next visit. Äkäslompolo and 7 Fells Hostel have stolen my heart. I highly recommend this place specially for remote workers, solo tarvellers, couples and a group of friends. What else: hostel invest in responsible and ecologigal tourism (like ecological soaps, organic coffee, recycling etc.). So this place rocks! You have to experience it for yourself!

The location is very good, right in the centre of akaslompolo. Some older maps have the hostel located somewhere else, but it is at Aihkitie (couple mins walk from Akashotelli). The staff are very friendly and helpful, but reception is not open very early in the morning. The rooms were nice and clean and there is a kitchen. Breakfast is free but it is just a couple of cereals. They have snowshoes that you can rent for 10 euros which is cheaper than the 20 euros charged by most of the sport shops. Best to go to reception the night before as it probably won't be open early in the morning and they don't have very many. The hostel has a nice atmosphere, some of the guest are longer term residents.

Very friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms, good beds. The staff permanently keeps the common rooms clean (well equipped kitchen, 3 bathrooms, sauna and the dining area) The hostel is situated close to the center of the town with the shops, restaurants and bars on walking distance. We really had a great stay.

We only had 3 nights here, that was not enough. The area warrants a a longer stay. Our arrival at the hostel was very welcoming. The rooms has a Scandinavian feel to it, like it came from a magazine. The beds were great and very comfortable. After an active day outside you can enjoy the sauna just a few steps from your room. The Hostel has a good equipped kitchen to make your own lunches or dinners. But there are enough restaurants, bars and cafe's in the area to not bother at all. I highly recommend staying here and I'll definitely be coming back here.

Very cozy hostel just outside of Äkäslompolo. If you travel without a car, you'll have to walk about 15 minutes to get to the "center" of Äkäslompolo. Very nice atmosphere, private rooms, bathroom down the hall, showers and sauna in separate building. Lovely common area with kitchen (waste separation), eating and living rooms and lots of books on the shelves (which has become rare in hostels in the past few years). Very friendly staff.

What an amazing place to stay. Our Cabin was beautifully decorated with a bonus of having our own sauna. The surrounding forest is truly beautiful and we found it particularly peaceful and relaxing. I couldn’t fault anything. I had been planning this trip for a while for my birthday but what made it really special was all the help and information we received from Tinja, with the added touch of a bottle of Prosecco left in our cabin, as well as pre-ordered on the house drinks at the restaurant she booked for us. We received lots of help organising trips and transfers prior to our trip. My plan is to return one day in the summer with my family. Can’t wait. Thank you.

Comfortable beds, friendly welcoming atmosphere, superb staff, loved the common areas: fireplace and magazines to read, good music, kitchen has everything and very clean, nice sauna. Kicksledges and snowshoes and route to Kuertunturi fell starts just around the corner. Definately coming again soon! Parempaa paikkaa rentouttavalle hyvän mielen Lapin lomalle on vaikea löytää, sijainti tunturin juuressa luo hyvät puitteet talvi- ja kesäaktiviteeteille.
