We returned to the Icehotel this year to get married (Just over 12 months since i proposed at the same place). We knew what to expect having been there before and was still very impressed with the hotel, it really is something to see and be amazed at! Staff were great, always polite and friendly and happy to help. They...

We stayed there in January of 2014 and had a great time. I would suggest you do the night in the ice hotel the first night you are there and then transfer to the warm hotel. The anxiety of staying in a hotel at minus 5 degrees is best to get it over with. We arrived at 4pm and immediately...

We only stayed at cold accomodation and it was an unforgettable experience. If you do not count with cold clothing equipment, no worries, they will give proper gear for you not to freeze out, check their page. Go to the church that is nearby and as well visit the little store that is down there to buy some local things....

What a truly stunning place the Icehotel is. The ice sculptures are breathtaking, the rooms are unique and the Ice Bar is a fabulous place to enjoy a drink IN ice! We arrived just in time for the last English tour of the hotel at 4pm, and it was well worth it. You find out how it is constructed and...

We had 2 nights at the Ice Hotel, opting to NOT sleep cold. We did the tour (which was great ) & had a drink in the bar but had 2 very comfortable nights in a fully self-contained 2 bedroom cabin on site. We did the Dog sledding excursion which was fantastic & the Ski mobiling which wasn't so great...

Amazing art work! We went on a tour - lunch (mediocre at best, the veggie main course option was a thin soup), a brief guided tour of the hotel then time to wander around the Art rooms, standard ice rooms, the church etc. we needed more time. Incredible!

We organized our own January trip to Sweden for the northern lights, and made reservations at the Icehotel through Expedia. We stayed one night in a cabin. Checkin and checkout were quick, efficient, well organized, and very friendly. Our cabin was in the row closest to the reception building. Two comfortable bedrooms, basic but serviceable bathroom (good hot shower), tiny...

I haven't actually stayed at this property. To be honest I don't think I will ever attempt to. My girlfriend was staying at the hotel and I had important information to pass to her. I telephoned the hotel but they refused to put me through to her, whilst confirming guests can make telephone calls. Hello there! My reasons for wanting...
