On a recent stay at Normanville we visited the "Normie" during the afternoon. A nice young barman offered to show us around (between serving customers) and we discovered the original part of the pub was date 1851. They have updated the place so brilliantly as well as a huge addition which emulates the original style. Also a nice outdoor area...

This cafe is fantastic for breakfast, lunch or dinner, we eat here often and the seafood platters are amazing. The entire menu has something for everyone, the sunsets are gorgeous most nights at this time of the year but even in winter it's lovely. The service is great too, friendly and the prices are reasonable. The wine list has a...

We went as two families, one of us is vegetarian and one is vegan (out of 8 people). There was only one vegetarian meal offered and that one was heavily cream and cheese based pasta, thus not suitable for vegans. There was next to none of the cauliflower or baby spinach in it, so not really even vegetarian. Basically it...

We had a group of 5 with various different food orders that ranged in price from high $20's to $36. The food was very disappointing & worthy of <$20ea. The service was ok. I wouldn't eat there again if I had a choice.

Was a bit unsure of a country pub and its quality of food. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and I was pleasantly surprised it was awesome delicious crumbs nice tomato sauce and all in all amazing. One shouldn't always judge the country on other country Establishments.

When attending this pub for a meal on our trip to normaville, I did not have high expectations, a local pub in a small beachside town, the location is quite convenient and the restaurant was only a short walk from our cabin. On arrival we were presented with menu's - go the counter to order :) When we went to...

Nearby retaurants were fully booked, but this place had a table on Saturday night..... perhaps that was an indication of what to expect. The welcome was timely, the seating a little uncomfortable. The cashier site to place an order moved between being seated and getting drinks from the bar... The food was a bit slow in arriving, considering how relatively...

I know Normanville well, I lived here years ago, visited and love the place. The local pub on the other hand has led us down twice in a row, the 1st night was a spectacular auction of food coming in drips and drabs but sadly not everyone's! The 2nd time was one where 4/4 chicken Schnitzels were served so raw...

What a shame! We were looking forward to support local hotel and walked out extremely upset. Terrible service to start with with the owner being sarcastic and not welcoming at all, waited for 1.5hr for our food and they even managed to not delivery 70% of our food, for a great space like that they are not prepared at all...

Went to the Normanville Hotel for lunch earlier this year and had the best plate of whiting ever. You MUST try this dish. Kangaroo Island Whiting – battered, herb crumbed or grilled w’ garden salad chips & house made tartare.
