We were two couples and had separate cottages located near to us. We could have our breakfast together on the patio overlooking the mountains. Theresa and Bernice looked after us so well and the breakfast was incredible! It was cold, so the fire was set up for us to keep warm. We had a power cut one night for a...

As a regular visitor to Tulbagh and Villa Tarentaal since 2009 I simply cannot say enough good things about this venue or the people that operate it. The incredible levels of personalized service that we have received from Graham and Brandi Hunter over the years has been on a par with what we have received in 5 star establishments throughout...

Wow - what a B&B, a gem out in the middle of nowhere. My parents, duaghter and I were there in March this year, were welcomed with a huge smile, to our very own cottage. All the mod cons, with little finishing touches everywhere. Bathroom, shower, bedroom, mini bar, coffee & biscuits all at our finger tips. Full MNet, and...

We ended up at Villa Tarentaal by accident, as the other accomodation we arranged was double booked... and what a blessing that turned out to be. The Peacock Suite was a wondeful romantic room, filled with beautiful pieces to admire. The staff was warm, extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast delicious. Thank you for accomodating us, we hope to...

Once again a fabulous stay with Graham and Brandi. Our sixth stay and as good as every other one - we can't wait to return. The breakfasts are second to none, accommodation you cant fault and hosts who can't do enough for you.

My wife and I are on a mission to discover the real gems of South Africa - the small towns and villages that lie just off the beaten track. We thoroughly enjoyed our three day visit to Tulbagh and Villa Tarentaal served as the perfect home base to explore the surrounding area (be sure to visit picturesque Slanghoek Valley). Loved...

Spacious and comfortable Chalets in a beautiful setting. Every morning a marvelous breakfast on your own terrace. The pool always clean with shaded sun loungers around. You doN#t need more! And Brandi and Graham as perfect hosts on top of it. We'll come again!

At villa Tarentaal you will find absolute peace and tranquility. The mountain views are stunning. There is lots of privacy in the garden and also at the room. The breakfast is very delicious and served at you're own terras. Villa Tarentaal is very centrally situated, close to the town center, shops and restaurants.

We have just spent three days at this establishment in the Blue Crane Cottage. The decor is neutral and accommodation comfortable with everything one could need for a short, light self catering stay. Exactly as described on the website for Villa Tarentaal. The host is attentive yet not intrusive and the service staff efficient and with pleasant demeanor. The view...
