We would loved to have stayed longer at Villa Tarentaal, but I'm afraid it was already booked. We enjoyed it there very much and would recommend it. The breakfast they bought to you in the morning, was superb, made more special because it was set out for you outside your cottage. If we travel to South Africa again, we will...

Set in a beautiful location, the peace and scenery really take some beating. We stayed in the Peacock suite, large, comfortable and well appointed. Graham and the team make you feel very welcome and those little touches make all the difference. Would we return, yes we would.

Villa Tarentaal is one of those rare gems you find on your travels - in the lovely valley of Tulbagh. The Peacock Suite is a lovely big and comfortable room (with huge bathroom, shower & aircon) leading straight out onto a patio and the swimming pool. Perfect after a long trip or site seeing. Breakfast (with a view!!) is outstanding...

One of the bed B&Bs I've stayed in. We stayed in the Swallow Suite. The room was lovely and modern with the biggest shower I've ever seen (but if you want a room with a view the Peacock Suite is perfect). The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with stunning views to accompany them. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

Clare and I wanted a quiet couple of days in the Tulbagh area and found Villa Tarentaal on Google. A wonderful 'oasis', beautiful gardens and pool, with mountain views all around. The cottage was very comfortable, with numerous small touches indicating the great care taken by Graham and Brandi to ensure the comfort of their guests. And breakfast must be...

Lovely location, excellent food, attentive service make this an excellent country inn. The backdrop of the mountains and a real effort to make one comfortable make this a great place to stay. Real attention paid to the preparation of breakfast as well.

Brandi, Graham and staff were friendly and welcoming, the self contained cottage was beautifully presented and fully equiped and no request was too much trouble. The garden and pool are an oasis to return to after a hard days sight seeing and travel around the many local wineries. The breakfasts, individually served in your room or on your verandah, were...
