Stayed in room 117. Big problems with the floor, was not level. Like pieces were missing and puzzled back together incorrectly. It was pretty old and run down. Cigarette burns in the blankets. Wifi sucked. Because it was business I didn’t book it but I was the lucky one that had to sleep there. Bed was super uncomfortable and the pillows were flat bricks. It was clean.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good value for your money. Great location, right on Front Street / Hwy 17. Owners are on site and very nice people. I've stayed here a number of times and have never had a bad experience.

I was in Sturgeon Falls on business, a co-worker and I stayed for 2 nights. It was very clean and comfortable, the owners were very friendly. Great place to stay for the price, I would definitely stay again.

We had a pleasant stay with our 3 little ones. We had a room with 2 double beds which was large enough to acommodate my husband and I and our 3 small children. Curtains and bedspreads are mismatched but everything was clean, worked and was well taken care of. There were 2 downsides: the host at the front desk who was cold and distracted by the television and the room was very warm for sleeping (>73 degrees) even though the thermostat was turned off (we stayed there in February). We did not open the windows because it would have been too noisy; the motel being along the Transcanadian Highway.

Dropped in last minute, they had a room available. Very clean. Very nice owners. Room a bit dated but freshly painted and fairly well taken care of. Room a bit small but for the rate, I'd definitely stay there again!

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The rooms are very clean. I'm fussy of where I stay! I mean like for cleanliness. I'm a virgo and I'm very fussy not with it being so much up to date ect, but with it being clean? Yes, very much so! For the price you get wifi, a little fridge, and a clean descent room. The owners are very nice as well! I would stay there again if ever need be.

Stayed over last minute for a reception party. Room was ready, neat, and super close to the sports complex. You get what you pay for. Can't complain on anything too big as we did not shower or stay long. Would stay over again in a pinch.

Staff here is friendly and very accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable, room was equipped with coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Check out time is great also, not too early so you don't feel rushed in the morning. Also the restaurant beside the inn, is a great place to have dinner, food was excellent and the staff very friendly. We would stay here again for sure.

I have stayed a few times at the river mist and have always been very pleased with my stay. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. The room s very clean and the beds are very comfortable. It is nice that they have wifi.
