I don't know why I've left it so long - I will be back very soon you may rest assured. If you are in this neck of the woods, I heartily recommend paying them a visit, whether its for...

This restaurant has Amazing food and the service is always second to none. There is a good choice of meals on the menu to choose from and they also have a good selection on the specials board. A very romantic setting for couples.

Nice staff breakfast was very good, plenty of choice. The place itself does need an upgrade worn carpets staining on the wallpaper a little bit dark going up and down the stairs. Beautiful display of flowers all over the pub and restaurant.

4 of us visited last Saturday night. It was very busy . If you plan to go be sure to make a reservation. The service was polite and efficient. All of us enjoyed our food. Special commendation to the pulled pork starter and excellent fish and chips and mushy peas. Large portions all round.

Clean, tidy and spacious room with everything you required. Ample facilities and excellent restaurant. Furniture and decoration as to be expected, period in nature but well maintained. Don't hesitate to book here as I would have no hesitation to do so. Situated in the middle of such a delightful and tranquil village setting. Everything needed on your doorstep.

Just had Sunday lunch at The Dun Cow and never again! After having asked for a lightly done Yorkshire, ( I've experienced the burnt offering `type there before ), I was so disappointed when I was presented with the blackest Yorkshire pudding I've ever seen !! Needless to say, I asked for it to be changed, only to be told...

Have often meant to visit the Dun Cow as we have heard good things but not managed it till now. But worth the wait! Situated very handily near to Hardwick Country Park (one of our favourite haunts) we found the Dun Cow staff to be delightful, the menu extensive with lots of home-made choices and our food was both deliciously...

Beautiful lunch only fault was we went late and there was no sirloin or lamb left. Veg cooked well and gravy delicious. One of the best Sunday lunches I've had in a long time. Will definately be back.
