Historic building being sensitively renovated. We had a lovely room and good food and service. Great cask ales and altogether great value. Bar/dining area is very large with fires and comfortable seating.

I’ve stayed here a few times & really enjoy my stays here. This trip was no different with a good bed & excellent food. The room rates are very reasonable & there’s always a warm welcome from the owner Any & manager Lesley.
Our room, over in the old stables, was extremely comfortable, warm and exceptionally clean. Perfect for a couple of nights stay while we were up for a wedding. The breakfast was EPIC and I overheard that they did a decent vegetarian breakfast too.

We stayed there with our 3 dogs and took them with us into the bar when we went for our evening meal. Not sure if they are allowed in all areas - we didn't take them into the dining room where breakfast was served and there... More
