We are a coaching Inn based just off the A66 with 10 letting rooms (8 en suite located across the courtyard in the converted stable block). We are dog friendly and have a traditional bar food plus a lovely coffee More shop and restaurant and a room to have meetings in. Very friendly and welcoming. An old building with lots of character.The room was clean and tidy with a very hot powerful shower. The meal in the restaurant was excellent and they were able to provide gluten free meals for my husband who is a coeliac.

Yes, I have seen dogs in for lunch-time, There is the main bar/dining area with large fire and then just round the corner a small snug with a few chairs and table and another fire. Also plenty of room outside on the terrace... More

We stayed there with our 3 dogs and took them with us into the bar when we went for our evening meal. Not sure if they are allowed in all areas - we didn't take them into the dining room where breakfast was served and there... More
