We camped in our Winnebago in the grassy back yard. The cost is a donation to the Flying Doctor. There's not much going on in town - the pub is the focal centre. HUGE (REALLY HUGE) meals make great value for money.
Friendly helpful staff in all areas, typical country pub-style meal (huge,tasty and with all the trimmings), room comfortable, clean and well-set out in a quiet location, under-cover parking. Highly recommend.
After a day on the hot outback road the Western Star as a destination is terrific. A little more expensive than Coopers Cabins which is the only other accomodation in town.

i paid $ 145.00 in May 2015 for 2 people. I booked via phone as it was the easier way to do it that way. You MAY have a delay in getting a response via the net - seems it's not always available out there!!!!
