My husband and I stayed at Sunswept Beach for two weeks in November 2012. The hotel is in a great location right on Holetown beach. Every room is sea facing and we asked for a high floor to take advantage of the amazing view. It has been said several times in previous reviews that the rooms are tired, and yes...

Not the only beach hotel on the West coast but probably the only 2 star one with such a location. Staff were good most of the time but the last day was a little disappointing. The following is fairly insignificant detail but mentioned to balance previous excellent reports a little. Having a Monday evening departure (no one else was checking...

THE GOOD is quite definitely the position, position and position. the room was a good size and the balcony was spacious, there was hot water and when the air conditioner got going was efficient.THE BAD is the facilities provided for self catering, old and battered. The toaster don't work, the back was missing of the air condition remote so was...

Barbados is not a cheap place to stay, and the west coast is the most expensive part of Barbados. Fortunately, the Sunswept exists which allows normal people to take a holiday on the west coast at a reasonable price. We stayed during November and got a special summer rate which was excellent value. The room had all we needed -...

Just got back from a excellent 2 weeks at the Sunswept Beach Hotel. The hotel was exactly as we expected thanks to previous reviews on Trip Advisor. The rooms are a nice size with a big bed but lumpy pillows. We got used to the lumpy pillows so not a problem. The kitchenette was fine for cooking breakast every day...

Just got back from a 7 night stay that lived up to the expectations we had from reading other reviews. The accommodation was simple and clean, no frills, not big on luxury but just in the most perfect location. Directly on the beach (a lovely beach it is too), directly across the road from a supermarket and shops, petrol station...

Just back from a 10 night stay with my husband. We are regular visitors to Barbados (i.e. twice a year) as my husband's daughter and grandchildren live on the island and we always stay in St James. This was our first visit to Sunswept Beach and hopefully it won't be our last. The location of the apartments is superb with...
