We agree with all the five star reviews - the owners are knowledgeable and very helpful, making it easy to see the key places of interest. All the drivers and guides associated with the lodge are excellent. Make sure to see Caracol and do the ATM cave. We'd come back again and stay there to see several sites that we...

My best friend and I spent 3 nights at the Mariposa Jungle Lodge. They had an overbooking on Expedia so we were upgraded to the biggest hut right when we got there! The loge grounds are beautiful. We spent a few hours on one of the days taking the hike through the jungle that leaves right from the lodge. We...

Our room was beautiful, the lodge area was incredible, the staff was extremely respectful, helpful and there to make you happy, the food was very yummy, I cannot say enough great things about our stay here!! Especially for the price. We booked Caracol and ATM with Mariposa, which I would highly recommend due to their very knowledgable guides and all...

Mariposa Jungle Lodge is really getting away from it all. The facilities I don't think are meant for the vacationer who wants to relax by the pool. It is a comfortable place to come to after a day of exploring. Sharyn, the owner, was great about scheduling our trips. We hiked inside (and swam) a Mayan cave, visited an ancient...

Can't say enough nice things about Mariposa Jungle Lodge and their staff. Food was great. Service was great. Guides were wonderful. The lodge booked and handled all of our trips to ATM cave, Caracol, Rio Frio Caves, the falls, Xunantunich and Cahal Peche, horseback riding, Tikal, and zip lining. We were very happy with the prices too, a bargain for...

Holiday hysteria has caused my delay in responding to thank you for your kind words. You were wonderful guests and it was a joy for us to serve you. My words are inadequate to express my delight that we met your expectations for this long-anticipated vacation. My staff and I wish you both a great life of love, good health,...

Excellent service from the moment we booked the room. The owner emailed with a welcome message and questions about food preferences for the dining package. Then offered helpful advice about the tours and booked them for us. Each room is an individual bungalow, nicely appointed and well maintained; set in a garden with a private screened in deck looking out...

Belated thanks for your kind review. I think the details you described will be very helpful to potential guests. It was a pleasure working with you to design your itinerary and I'm sorry I was not there to meet you, but it's always gratifying to know that Nelmarie, our onsite General Manager, and our incredible staff take great care of...

Arrived in Belize and we were picked up at the airport by Augusto. Approximately 2 hour drive to the lodge. Augusto was very welcoming and gave us a wonderful explanation of the country and everything we saw on the way. Very informative and knowledgeable. Upon arriving at the lodge we were welcomed by Nell Marie and given our room keys...

We stayed in October, the slow season. Because of that, during the week we stayed we only saw other people on 2 of the days. The grounds were amazing. They have 6 cabanas available. They are set up differently based on how many people in your party. If you reach out to Nel Marie or Sharyn, they will set you...

Cant say enough good things about Mariposa Lodge. We were the only travelers at this time of year so literally had the entire place to ourselves. It was like a red carpet of love was rolled out for us. The room was decorated for our honeymoon in such a beautiful, loving way. Our meals were decorated and served as if...
