Okay firstly the photos in their marketing and website are a complete LIE, the Hotel is 2 star maximum, it is a Budget Family Package Holiday venue, that is SO run down and tired that the place is falling apart! Sold as a Mountain View room actually was looking at a huge brick wall so after much dispute we were moved to an Ocean View room that was tiny, very old and the lights didn’t work in the bathroom and the shower was covered in rust. The accommodation is split over a cliff face and so you have to constantly walk up hill as they don’t have any real transport system available, it was exhausting. There is no restaurant it is just a set menu canteen, the beach is miles away across a highway and a railway line, which makes the resort noisy. The staff are really rude and aggressive, which I later found out was due to the fact that they hadn’t been paid, as the owners are in financial trouble, I assume this is why they feel it is ok to lie about the hotel on line, as they are desperate. We checked out after one night despite having paid for the rest of the week, the staff refused any refund even though we booked via Booking.com and expected some support, but they told them to go away too. Avoid this place as it is THE WORST HOTEL IN SICILY

‏The hotel is on a steep hill and include several buildings. The place looks beautiful. There is nice and special swimming pool, good breakfast and excellent service. The location of the hotel is perfect due to the fact that is between Savoca and Etna, which are the most recommended sites in Sicily. It is very important to rent a car for mobility. The rooms are uncomfortable. We were on the second floor with no elevator.

This coastline slopes steeply down to the sea so even the quickest glimpse at a map might warn you about the gradients. Not for the elderly or infirm. NOT! Not really for me either because the walk back to my room from the restaurant was REALLY hard work.My room didn't OVERlook anything. More like UNDERlooked the vertical embankment on which the road continued its journey to the stars. From what felt like the bowels of the earth. I can find something good to write about almost anywhere I stay but I have to say I'm struggling here . . .

This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. If you have a standard I would suggest to look else where. We checked in and checked out within 2 hours. The pictures have been taken a couple of years ago when the hotel was new, they only have a buffet restaurant food selection not at all fresh for a place like Sicilia with wonderful local food produce its such a shame we could not sit and eat what was on display. This was very disappointing and when we checked out within 2 hours of checking in the young lady at the desk couldn't care less if or why we decided to leave this goes to show how well the service was they absolutely couldn't care. Depending on the holiday experience you want to have in such a beautiful place like sicilia I would not consider staying here. Booking.com and Trip advisor both have this as a 4 star hotel I think it needs to be down graded as this shows dishonesty from both these booking agencies they need to be on there game when rating hotels.

its a 2 Pictured story about this Hotel . From the Positive side 1 ) stunning sea views 2 ) Good Parking 3) Good Breakfast and 4) friendly staff . From the negative side , 1 ) too many Hills , 2 ) over Priced "food and drinks extremely expensive " especially from the Pool Counter , 3 ) average rooms , 4 ) average cleanliness , 5) Horrible WIFI in all areas except in the reception, 6 ) hotel beach path and beach is a nightmare etc etc . I believe that on the internet , pictures gives a much better picture of the hotel than the reality !! Overall rating is below average !!
