I spent two nights with Carolle staying in her beautiful home whilst working on Ave Beaulieu. The accommodation is very well sited for this being about five minutes away by car (Carolle dropped me off each morning!) and about twenty minutes very easy and pleasant walking. House is close (2 minutes) to the watermelon train station for trips into town....

The place was perfect for our stay. The location was great, close to downtown, and the university campus. The surrounding was peaceful & well maintained. The owner was incredibly inviting and helpful, and her breakfasts were delicious!!! Super clean, super friendly, super welcoming. We even got to eat some freshly harvested eggs from the backyard. We would go back anytime!!

What a lovely place to stay in, with fine rooms and apartments, and a wonderful hostess! The breakfasts are excellent and there is adequate parking facilities for those travelling by car; an additional bonus is the garden. It is close to public transport, but situated a peaceful neighborhood among other beautiful homes.

I spent 4 nights at Les Taillis while in Brussels for a conference. The welcome was very friendly - Carolle speaks limited English (she is learning though!), so my French skills came in handy, but she was very welcoming and helpful on arrival. There was a small problem which meant that I had to spend one night in one room...

This was our second visit to B&B Les Taillis and it felt even a bit like coming home. Madame Carolle was as helpful and friendly as our last stay. We had a nice breakfast and stayed in the same room which pleases us. It is a delightful art nouveau house. We also enjoyed chatting with our hostess and the advice...

I was looking for an overnight stay in Brussels for reasonable price and found this property - no breakfast, shared bathroom, 25 minutes by bus from city center. I have booked because nothing better for the same rate was available. I could not believe my eyes when we arrived! Absolutely beautiful old mansion with nice garden and exceptional decoration inside!...

We spent the last weekend in BXL. As I was searching for the right spot to stay, I stumbled on 'Les Taillis'. Immediately, I was triggered by 'Art Nouveau'. While I discussed it with my husband, we could only book for the Friday night. Such a pity, but it was a sign this is a 'wanted' place to stay. We...

The owner gave this place a unique and beautiful interior full of interesting decorations. The basement is decorated like a submarine - with machines and equipment in the corridor and nautical paraphernalia in the room.
