This property should be called the ultimate 1960's style motel : it looks just like a lot of American and Canadian motels I remember from the sixties. There is a two level structure housing the suites on the perimeter around a parking lot and right...More
If you want to stay near/on Bondi Beach Ultimate Apartments should be your place! I stayed only 1 night having found the CBD hotels way too expensive and a 1BDRM only being AUD $160 a night. I arrived after the office closed but the key...More
I stayed here and was slightly anxious before I arrived as I had read reviews saying the rooms were small, dated and dirty. I was very very pleasantly surprised.

Ultimate in the 1960's, unfortunately not so ultimate now. Great location, close to the beach and the local attractions. However, the room is badly in need of a renovation. Very tired and dated furnishings.
We were looking for some where which had secure parking with a reasonable price . This place worked out really well as we could park right outside our room . The room was clean with a bed, sitting room/kitchen plus a bathroom . I really...More

An iconic Australian suburb, Bondi Beach is famous for its fantastic beaches and views. Once the domain of backpackers, hundreds of tourists from all over the world descend en masse to Bondi in December ready to enjoy the "Aussie summer". Bondi Beach boasts impressive ocean views all along the many restaurants and bars on Campbell Parade. Wake up early and take a dip in the surf before walking the scenic stretch from
Bondi to Coogee Beach. Stroll through the Saturday organic markets in North Bondi or grab some fish and chips and relax in the grassy area opposite the beach. For more upscale cuisine, head down to Hall Street where a range of new eateries have recently opened. Just make sure to save enough energy for the buzzing nightlife Bondi Beach has to offer.

Hi Julie! Excellent choice for heading to Sydney in October. You'll absolutely love it, and the weather will be on point! But yes, as you say I too believe you are worrying over nothing haha. If you are arriving that late, it may pay to flick management an email and arrange something for your late arrival. But having said that, they do have a buzzer for after hour access. I'd recommend contacting management, shouldn't be an issue. Hope this helps, and enjoy your trip!

Sorry I have answered as if you are going from airport to bondi. either way, bus 400 goes from airport to bondi and return. alternatively other buses from main promenade in bondi to bondi junction then a train to airport, both would be cheaper than a shuttle or taxi unless there are a few of you. buses and trains are very regular.
