Travelling from the busy Durban metropolitan area through the tranquil untouched areas of the south coast - the drive to WILD COAST SUN was so relaxing. there are two roads - the old scenic route (roads bit bumpy) but the views and quaint old towns and haunts are worth a first time traveller. I did the old route going up... More

We arrived at 2pm and had to wait in a queue of about 100+ people for 45 minutes. We eventually were asked whether we were voucher guests or other. We were other and were removed from the line and taken to the concierge desk where we were checked in for our 3 night stay. The promised fruit bowl was not... More

Didn't stay at the hotel but visited the casino on a rainy day while on holiday in th south coast. The food court area had 5 fast food places, was under staffed and the area was under construction. So couldn't even have a conversation while we ate. Kids gaming area was decent and so was the casino itself. But the... More

Lovely resort to experience natural beaches, watching the thunderous waves, watching the birds and discovering the best beach shells. Yes there is a casino and a few reasonable restaurants Service was great, food was good. Spent two nights but did not have the time to visit the water park. Others said it was well worth the visit. Good spa facilities.

Upon arrival we were allocated rooms right at the end of the building and my father has trouble walking the reception staff were kind enough to find him a room located closer to the entrance and the porter was helpful and got my father a wheelchair, we really appreciated all of your help, the hotel itself is so relaxing .

We loved the hotel and all the monkeys running around caused big amusement for us. Nowhere in SA can you find a better view for a function. Everywhere you go you could see the ocean even in the local spur!! The bunny chow at Dannys house of curries was to die for at a very cheap price. The breakfast was... More

On our first day , the Lagoon bar and the downstairs restaurant was closed . Non of the employees could tell us why it was closed . The front desk said that If you want something to drink , you need to sit in the casino . We went to Chicos for dinner to find the saddest looking dinner buffet... More

Pleasantly surprised with the accommodation and overall experience at Wild Coast Sun. The revamp with upgraded rooms are excellent. Live entertainment on a Saturday night with Clinton (from the Barnyard) is brilliant. Only down-side was the lack of a sit-down a la carte restaurant (Squires was replaced with Spur), and there is no dedicated swimming area at the beach. Indoor... More

Stayed at the Wild Coast Sun for two nights in the beginning of September with my family. We arrived earlier than the check in time and had to wait for our room to be ready, which is understandable. However, the lady at the front desk was not very helpful. She told us to use the hotel amenities while we waited... More
