The Chateau exterior and surrounding grounds are very attractive. The bed (guestroom #61) was hopelessly narrow for two persons. Ultimately had to shift some bedding and try to sleep on the floor. The confirmation notice claimed "King, Queen, or two Single beds", but this was not true. The lack of concern for providing guests a decent chance to sleep was...

There is something very wrong with a chateau in France when the front of the house speaks neither French nor English. The rugs are frayed and the window coverings are dusty. The bathrooms are clean but the sinks, toilets and tubs all need work. And the dining room selections were rarely available as advertised. The grounds are beautiful so fix...

This place is so overrated! We only stayed here because our original hotel was not ready. We thought we lucked out and got upgraded cos it was a "chateau" but not an upgrade at all. The rooms furnishings are dated and the hall smells like newly-applied room freshener. In addition, the place is understaffed. Worse of all, they keep foisting...

Amazing hotel . Old castle. Nice and big rooms ,the most of them with amazing view . You can hire free a bicycle or a boat and try to a explore the huge estate. You should go for a walk in the forest . I think is a little bit expensive but for a castle with 5 stars is pretty...

This is truly a beautiful chateau. Rooms are traditional and comfortable. Bathrooms are a little tired but this is a beautiful old building so some compromise is necessary (e.g. waiting for hot water to flow to room) to enjoy its authenticity. The published room rates seemed very high although I got a much lower rate via Booking.com. The breakfast was...

An easy 1.5 hour drive from Paris, this chateau is closer than most as it is north of the Loire Valley, but it is still convenient enough to visit both the chateaux of the Loire Valley and Chartres. Chartres is about 25 minute drive, Chenonceau is 1,25 hours, Cheverny is 1 hour 20 minutes, as is Blois. Smaller Chateaux, like...

The room is by far not what it looks like on the pictures, and what you'd expect for the price ! It is oldfashioned and outdated. I am not english so I don 't know how to say it but I would say " shabby and worn". We even had a brown blanket with sheet on the bed instead of...

First of all I'd like to say that the grounds of the Chateau are amazingly beautiful. The food is great, we had lunch, breakfast, and room service. The service was excellent, very attentive, professional, and courteous. After we checked in they escorted us to our room. I immediately was worried because the carpet is really old and ugly. When entering...

Having read the reviews this looked ideal, so I emailed the property to check availability. Received a presumptuous email confirming my reservation when I had simply enquired as to availability, and was also quoted a price 100€ more than the price advertised on the hotel's own website. In this digital age, you simply cannot attempt to pull stunts like this....
