Hello. I just booked one night for my family and I in July. We will arrive in the afernoon, coming by boat across the lake and leave in the afternoon the next day to go to San Jose. I would like to do a night tour the night we arrive and a morning tour the next day. Do you have any recommendations? Are there group tours and private tours to choose from? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

We are located at 1.5 kilometers to the entrance of the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve (5 minute drive / 20 minute walk). The Monteverde Reserve has a night hike every afternoon starting at 5:45 p.m. The night hike is usually for about 2 hours. Most of the night hikes in the area start at around 5:30 p.m. 6:00 p.m. The tours are in small groups of 8-9 persons with one guide.
During the day the Monteverde Reserve is open from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. They have naturalist guided tours every day at 7:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1:30 p.m.
