We had agreed to the $150 US per night at this place simply because it was advertised as a treehouse, even though this was significantly higher price than anywhere else we stayed in the country (we got a lot more for a lot less money at all 6 other places we rented). So we had high expectations and I didn't... More

If you are traveling to Monteverde, Costa Rica with a big group, I definitely recommend the TreeTop House. Whether you are multiple families or a large group of friends, this is an awesome location. Sabine is awesome. She communicated with us before the trip, helping us plan shuttles and all our Monteverde activities. Can't imagine a better host! The rooms... More

We dined here one evening after our coffee tour. The food varied from good to very good, but the real win was the atmosphere. The tables are scattered on several levels beneath the boughs of a tree and so we had natural breezes through our meal. They provide outdoor heaters - so it was not too cool but it was... More

A charming house in a very convenient location. The house is tucked away on a small road in a lush cloud forest setting. Set atop a hill side, the views into the forest are quite tranquil. In the day it is quite calm and relaxing, we even had a sloth sighting has one strolled across a balcony. Sabine the owner... More

Staying at the Treetop House was certainly the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. The house is a special unique treasure set in the treetops of Monteverde. We were traveling with my family and my sister's family: we were nine people in total. The five kids (ages 12-16) had a blast hanging out on the hammocks on the porch... More

Manazir, thank you for your review on the Treetop House. We sincerely apologize for your bad experience. December, January, February and March are the windiest months in Monteverde, and we unfortunately can’t control the weather. In the description of the house we refer to the “kitchen” as “kitchenette”. It has a coffee maker, blender, fridge, top stove with 4 flames,... More

Our stay at the TreeTop House was magical. For us, it was the perfect marriage of adventure, comfort, convenience, charm and isolation. We wanted a tree house type experience, but still wanted clean comfy beds, indoor plumbing and the ability to provide our own meals. We were two families of 4 traveling together with kids ranging from age 7-12. The... More

The house is unique, spacious, fun, comfortable and affordable. Sabine was a very helpful host. She suggested tours and helped set them up. We enjoyed them all, especially the coffee plantation tour.
