The Hotel Belmar was fantastic. We stayed in the Sunrise Room. It was gorgeous the view was fantastic. Two sides of the room are floor to ceiling windows with a view of the Pacific Ocean (its far, but you can see the from the mountain you are staying on all the way to the Pacific). We went to bed with...

We loved this cute little hotel. Breakfast was great and our room felt massive because we were surrounded by forest views. They delivered delicious coffee to our room day and night. A little hard to find but one of our favorite places we've stayed.

Hotel Belmar is one of my favorite hotels I've ever experienced. They truly focus on a quality experience, and on environmental sustainability. The hotel is beautiful and spacious. The rooms are large yet cozy. The staff are very attentive, friendly, and professional. And, the breakfasts are absolutely delicious. Much of the fruit and other ingredients come from the hotel's own...

We stayed at this hotel booked through an agency. The hotel is pricey, but very nice. The hotel is magnificent - traditional chalet style adapted to the cloud-forest with beautiful old wood furnishings + rooms have beautiful views, service is great, and surprisingly: The food is really good - chocolate or coffee sauce with great beef fillet, too (not always...

Loved the warm welcome and gracious staff. Loved the Swiss style of the hotel. Great views. Very clean. Went out of their way to accommodate us at every turn. The cappuccino at breakfast is not free as it was at other hotels but they waived the fees after we complained. Would stay again for sure.

First time to Monteverde and what a ride up the hill, dirt roads for several hours. But the ride is worth it. Beautiful area and a nice boutique hotel. No TV but good internet service and within a half hour drive of all the outdoor experiences you would come to Costa Rica for. It is without doubt one of the...

The Belmar is a luxurious hotel with views over the forest and to the Nicoya Peninsula that took our breath away. We had a lower ground floor room with a big balcony, beautiful wooden floors and two double beds. We found the hotel peaceful and enjoyed exploring the pretty grounds; the jacuzzi was great after a long day's hiking. We...

Our first night at Hotel Belmar was not very pleasant as we accepted the last remaining room in the lower level of the hotel. The room was clean however the towels and house coats were totally thread bare and in need of replacement. We could live with the towels needing replacement but during the night we were kept awake by...
