I stayed at Hotel Gokova for 4 nights. Ok it is a 10 min walk into town, but I like walking. The owners dont speak English but will do anything for you, like bring you hot water lemon and honey for your sore throat !! Rooms lovely, cleaned daily, bed comfortable, shower amazing. Wouldnt hesitate to stay here again.

I booked this super last minute - I was actually in the reception area using their own wifi!! - and they were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Location was great - near the river with some amazing fish restaurants and 20 min walk to beach area. Building was charming. Pool outside. Room comfortable and clean with own balcony.

A really nice picturesque hotel run by really nice people. Rooms are clean, facilities are very good. There is a good selection of Turkish breakfast foods available both hot and cold. All very fresh. A short walk takes you to the fish restaurants near the local river. However if you can venture the other way, the local town is not...

As a quieter and smaller alternative to Marmaris and other resort towns in the area, and on our first long holiday in Turkey, we chose Akyaka. We were pleased we did. It's a relaxed place to wander around of an evening - the streets, the river and the forest park. The forest park with it's trees and shade is relatively...

We stayed this hotel four days. It is written on their booking dot com profile that it is 400-500 meteres to beach. No, it is not correct. It is 2KM from beach. So, it makes it very difficult to go to beach, especially in the very hot weather. So, we used the hotel only for breakfast and sleeping. It does...

My husband and I stayed here for a 2 day getaway recently. The only reasons I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the bathrooms were incredibly small and the bed was a bit uncomfortable. That being said, everything was sparkling clean, fresh, wonderful breakfast buffet, excellent family-run establishment. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for a week and it was my first time in Turkey. The staff were amazing - so helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. The food was lovely too. A short walk into the town and the beach so ideally located for cafes and bars. I stayed...

Great little place. Hope you have GPS, because it is pretty hidden. Better than 2 stars in my opinion. Helped with my bags, delicious breakfast and nice room with a balcony. Amazing seafood restaurant on the river just down the road.

Very friendly staff, the owner speaks English and everyone is helpful. Easy walking distance to anywhere in the village. The local government must do something about the feral dogs, one of which nipped my colleague in the dark. This kind of thing is not the responsibility of the hotel but must be a drawback to business.

“Rooms away from the road may be quieter, We overlooked the pool and the hills behind and liked that. Air conditioning was excellent and shut out most of the road noise in the early evening”
