One general remark before reviewing the hotel. Safety issue ranks high to any traveller to the Middle East, and as a frequent visitor to the region I can assure that Jordan presently is among the safest countries in the area, including for solo travellers. And Jordan Valley Marriott has several levels of security checks at the entrance - for cars... More

Although quite good, the hotel is old fashioned, the lobby as well as the rooms, all could need maintenance. The room was not very clean and the toilet in the bathroom smelled. Enough swimmig pools to choose from and a nice touch: a pool addults only. The breakfast buffet was nice. The choice for lunch and diner apart from the... More

Hotel has great facilities like spa, pools and private access to dead sea beach. It deserves for max of stars in that field. Unfortunately it represents poor value for platinum members (no lounge, free breakfast or even room upgrade). Additionally we had to wait 1 h for our room to be ready. Quite disappointing. The choice of restaurants is not... More

We have stayed at the Marriott Dead Sea on many different occasion's and always enjoyed it very much. Today we visited just for the day as we are staying in Amman. I would like to comment how friendly and professional the staff are, always smiling and checking on guest satisfaction. Great service as always and the hotel is extremely well... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. It has great views Dead Sea. Has an awesome clean beach to enjoy the sea. 4 pools around to enjoy your stay. Lots of restaurants and bars in the hotel. Has awesome breakfast and dinner buffet, great desserts too! There is not much around the hotel but a mall close by, walking... More

I read some previous reviews and wasn't particularly looking forward to staying here. Very pleasantly surprised however. Really charming and helpful staff from check in to breakfast and generally. Rooms are fine - standard Marriott rooms little bit tired but fine. I am staying at a low level facing away from the sea with no view. Not good for holiday... More

Fantastic hotel. Lovely views, pools first class, food excellent and service could not be faulted. Also the hotel arranged for a passport and money left in the safe at the Marriott hotel in Amman to be returned to us at this hotel. First class indeed!!

Stayed here early April 2014. Easy driving distance from Amman and well positioned on Dead Sea. Rooms were great considering we got a free upgrade. To make our stay even easier our rooms were ready at 8:30am on the day of arrival. Nice buffet breakfast. Security is high due to many international visitors. Beautiful pools and easy access to Dead... More

Elegant and impeccably well maintained hotel with friendly staff. Delightful breakfasts make a great start to the day. Best of the hotels on the Dead Sea. Unlike other hotels and apartments, the beach does not face any of the other developments and so has a superb vista.
