My husband and I stayed a couple of days to enjoy a bit of local fishing. Great rapport from all the staff! They helped make our stay relaxing, nothing was an effort for them. They guided us on what was available for us in the local community. Keep up the great work guys, some things are superficial, friendliness and laughter...

Was disappointed with this venue and didn't feel it was value for money. I booked a queen room with a river view. The room fittings were basic, the chairs were uncomfortable, although the bed was very comfortable, and the view was somewhat distance. The place itself was rather tired and for the money I would have expected more luxury. There...

We stayed in one of the queen bed rooms. A glorious view from the room over the paddock with kangaroos, past the tree with the kookaburra onto the stunning river. Clean and comfortable, air conditioning, polite note about water conservation as the property is on rainwater tanks. Friendly owners, lovely dining room with delicious food. Kayaked on the river on...

The complex is a work in progress with new owners who have completed a lot of work, with a lot in front of them. I believe the Motel was very run down, so full marks to get it to it's present standard.

Location great, bit more work to do modernising the place, especially restaurant. Owners very helpful. Bedroom was very comfortable and hiring a boat was idyllic on the river. Could have had more local knowledge on the best fishing spots.

We stopped here on our journey back down the coast from Sydney It was lovely and remote and quiet. Sadly we got there late but not to worry, the owners who are newish were there to greet us and were so friendly I really wish them all the best in this new venture for them. The following day we took...

Well worth stopping half way between Sydney and Melbourne. Stunning bush location - birds, animals, wildflowers and fishing all accessible. Friendly and caring onsite owners and team. Comfortable rooms. Self catering cottages perfect for fisher-people who want to stay on the water in the evening. Cooking for yourself gives you the flexibility to come and go when you want -...

We stayed in this beautiful location 35 years ago and it stayed in our memory so gave it another go this week at very short notice. We were not disappointed - the owners Brendan and Galinda have only been there two months but are already well into upgrading to a fantastic destination providing total relaxation and great Aussie service. Its...

About 12 lodges overlooking the lake. Outstanding facilities. Lodges have jacuzzi and washer drier. Lounge, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom. Patio with sun loungers and table. Continental breakfast brought to lodge. Can buy ready cooked meals prepared by on site chef. Excellent quality. Staff helpful and pleasant. Would loved to have stayed longer.
