Our first visit here and we had high expectations. We used a voucher package and received chocolate strawberries and a bottle of fizz in the room. The Hall is magnificent and well worth a visit. The room was very luxurious and had great views. I cannot fault the standard of accommodation. Ok, so now for the disappointing part. Check in...

Our third visit for afternoon tea and we were not impressed. The surroundings are lovely but the food does not live up to them. Plain white sliced bread with ham, a huge bagel with cream cheese and salmon, a cold fajita wrap with coronation chicken and a wet soggy warburtons egg sandwich. With a little imagination eg whole grain mustard...

We stayed for one night in the Mount Stewart Suite. The room was excellent (clean, fresh and comfortable). We used the Spa which was very enjoyable, not too busy even though it was fully booked. It's a shame there isn't more room for changing it was a little cramped. The grounds are very attractive and well kept. We had a...

Stayed here with my husband as we were attending a function here. First impressions are amazing the building and drive up to it is lovely and the entrance hall with its high ceilings and glass roof is stunning, unfortunately this is it where it ends. On check in we were just given a point in the direction of the lift...

the hotel is physically imposing. we had one of the smaller rooms but it was still larger than many other hotels. the taster menu was disappointing both in quantity of food and quality. it wasn't dreadful but it wasn't as good as they thought it was. £4.50 for a small bottle of lager. about £10 a pint, and at £3.80...

My partner and I stayed here for one night and got an exceptional deal - dinner, b and b, a bottle of prosecco and chocolate strawberries on arrival. Our room on the first floor was very spacious and tastefully furnished. Our bathroom was very modern with a wet room and a very powerful shower. Dinner and breakfast were sublime. The...

We booked Wynyard Hall through Secret Escapes for my wife's birthday and got a good deal. Dinner bed and breakfast with a bottle of Prosecco and chocolate dipped strawberries in the room on arrival. The setting is magnificent and the hall is beautiful. Everything was immaculately clean and staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend here for a relaxing break....

We visited Wynyard Hall for a much needed break and booked a deal at one of the cottages for Mother's Day. This was booked well in advance and included a cottage overnight stay with a hot tub, a bottle of Prosecco and breakfast. This was a treat for myself, mum, sister, daughter and niece following a difficult few months. I...

Wynyard hall is renowned for excellent service, beautiful surroundings and scrumptious food. We visited as a treat for afternoon tea and service was remarkable, staff were pleasant and efficient, however the food was quite tired, as if it had been plated some time hours before serving. Our previous visit was earlier in the day a few months prior, and the...
