Simply a delightful place. Simple, basic rooms with bamboo walls that let light and air thru. We met travelers from all over the world and shared meals and stories with them. Don't miss tubing down the river. We couldn't stop laughing with joy.

Our stay at the Hostal La Qhia was absolutely perfect: The very friendly owner of the hostel helped us a LOT with our visit of the region, she advised us for good hiking and even provided some insider tip so we could visit the locals! The rooms are very beautiful: Lovely details, very spacious and absolutely clean. The kitchen is...

I went to Santa Fe for a few days and stayed for a week! This hostel is great, lots of communal space, decent kitchen, loads of good local information and a really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly owner. The place was always kept clean and there's coffee every morning. Loads of stuff to do locally, hiking, waterfalls, organic finca, horseriding etc....

Very relaxing town, I needed a place like that to recharge energy. Went to do some hiking and get to know the little town. Santa Fe wasn't as cold as I expected and didn't needed to use the bed sheet, but was comfortable cool. Slept so well :)

Our trip was marred by an unbelievable display of bad manners and unprofessional behaviour by the proprietor. We arrived in the evening and were shown to a room by a very friendly lady who worked at the hostel. Our room was set in a different building and the lady explained to us that it wasn't always let out, just if...

hostal close to neighbours so cock starts making noise early in the morning but i guess its part of the countryside. No fan but gets cool at night. 12$ dorm with toilet and shower for 8 persons. Kitchen accessible and area to handwash your clothes with lots of place to hang your stuff. Otherwise quiet and calm.

We stayed at La Qhia for 5 nights so that we had plenty of time to explore the surrounding area. It is the most perfect place! So serene, tranquil, friendly, clean, beautiful. The owner Stephanie has an abundance of helpful information to help you plan your best trip to this region. Thank you for an experience we will never forget!...

We stayed at la qhia for 2 nights The first night we stayed in one if the private rooms in the hostal with shared bathroom . These rooms have hardly any privacy, since the walls are made out of tree branches with lots of openings in them. You can hear every single sound of the persons next to you, even...

We enjoyed three nights here and found the place friendly, comfortable and clean. As there was only one ( disappointing) restaurant open in the village when we were there we appreciated being able to cook. The kitchen was very well equipped and well looked after. We had a room for four and appreciated the hot showers! Only downside was the...
