Very relaxing town, I needed a place like that to recharge energy. Went to do some hiking and get to know the little town. Santa Fe wasn't as cold as I expected and didn't needed to use the bed sheet, but was comfortable cool. Slept so well :)

To cut a long story short, here is what you get (for a very reasonable price): - good location (transport and supermarket wise) - comfy wide bunk beds - nicely designed bathroom with shower - kitchen with every(every)thing you need for basic or even more complex cooking - yummy coffee in the morning - helpful tips from the host -... Our trip was marred by an unbelievable display of bad manners and unprofessional behaviour by the proprietor. We arrived in the evening and were shown to a room by a very friendly lady who worked at the hostel. Our room was set in a different building and the lady explained to us that it wasn't always let out, just if... More

hostal close to neighbours so cock starts making noise early in the morning but i guess its part of the countryside. No fan but gets cool at night. 12$ dorm with toilet and shower for 8 persons. Kitchen accessible and area to handwash your clothes with lots of place to hang your stuff. Otherwise quiet and calm.

We stayed at La Qhia for 5 nights so that we had plenty of time to explore the surrounding area. It is the most perfect place! So serene, tranquil, friendly, clean, beautiful. The owner Stephanie has an abundance of helpful information to help you plan your best trip to this region. Thank you for an experience we will never forget!... More

We stayed at la qhia for 2 nights The first night we stayed in one if the private rooms in the hostal with shared bathroom . These rooms have hardly any privacy, since the walls are made out of tree branches with lots of openings in them. You can hear every single sound of the persons next to you, even... More

We enjoyed three nights here and found the place friendly, comfortable and clean. As there was only one ( disappointing) restaurant open in the village when we were there we appreciated being able to cook. The kitchen was very well equipped and well looked after. We had a room for four and appreciated the hot showers! Only downside was the... More

Beautiful location with lots of information about the great walks in the area. Kitchen was good. Room and shared bathroom (there was no one else on our floor to share with, so we had it to ourselves) was very clean and there was a net over bed to protect from mozzies etc. Helpful and friendly staff. Great views of the... More

I spent five night at La Qhia and had a wonderful time. The dorm is very comfy and beautiful and, moreover, Myriam has really been welcoming and helpfull (she even drove me to a waterfall and invited me to join her and friends at an amazing asian restaurant). I can only recommend you this place in one of the best... More

To me was a time to remember the surrounding area that I hadn't visit for several years. The surprise? I didn't expect so beautiful and comfy hostal with the welcoming and service of my "nana" Rosa. Myriam also is a special host. Everything there and everybody there is nice. Room recommended? the private one. The nature environment is just perfect... More
