Clean, Modern, nice rooms, friendly staff. No bar and continental breakfast which was nice but makes the place feel a bit like hostel. Is dog friendly but I'd only recommend for a small dog. Staff very nice and helpful only complaint is that they only...More

The Lodge has the feel of a hostel/lodge, but with the quality of a hotel. Rooms are clean and well equipped, showers hot and strong (minor problem with ours but resolved by the staff). Staff are friendly and efficient. We really liked our stay there.More

You can walk over High fell and walk into Keswick that way.Need good walking map of the area or GPS.Much nicer walk than walking along the busy road and get the bus back.
