The place need attention. It must have been a while since last renovation. Rooms are big and clean, but run down. Thatch roof has a smell of mould. Swimming pool was green and un taken care of. Staff are helpful, and the food is very basic. They only serve breakfast, no dinner was available !!

We stayed here for 1 night with our 3 boys ages 12, 9 and 9 on our way to Etosha. As you can see in the description, they own several properties and we stayed at the B&B, not the lodge. We stayed in a two level room at the back of the property which was large, bright, quiet and clean...

Well...beautiful place but was not that impressed with the service or food. First of all - the waiter did not have any experience and came back 2 -3 time to reconfirm my order. When food received, my chicken was still raw - I sent back to "crisp" it up a bit. Overall I didn't wait long for my food or...

We were looking for a place to stay travelling back from Botswana. We were given a room near the beautiful pool, we all loved it. Rooms were clean, staff friendly! The breakfast was very good also. I would recommend. Some fountains are not in use due to the drought, this did not bother us at all. We slept well.

We were at Out of Africa Lodge for a sport weekend. Located on the edge of town on a large plot and very nice garden. Rooms built around the pool, very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the nice evenings outside on the veranda of the restaurant. The food was well prepared and the plates looked appetising upon arriving at our...

On our way back from Etosha we stayed at Out of Africa Lodge. We had a nice double story family room with a thatch roof near the pool. The children enjoyed the pool and the grass around the pool. Our car was full of dust from the trip through Etosha and the Lodge staff offered to have our car washed...

Stayed at the Lodge on our way to the north of the country. Rooms where spacious and situated inside a courtyard with beautiful fountains. There was a friendly German lady who was very helpful with our trip. Enjoyed the breakfast and what was especially nice was the extraordinary large pool. Friendly and attentive staff and in general good value for...

We stayed in this hotel for one night on the way back from Etosha. The buildings, the fountains and the pool would have been fine - but everywhere you got the feeling of neglect. As there are very bright lights in the court yard and only thin curtains in front of the windows, it was really difficult to sleep as...

We would like to respond to the review with the following. We are experiencing a severe drought and it is the second year. We also do have water restrictions at the moment and are eagerly awaiting the first rain. We take note of your complaint about the lights in the courtyard, but some other people do complain if the garden...

I found no reason to rate this place POOR except security. Front gate wide open with no attendant. Upon arrival two women in our group stowed their backpacks in their room, locked the door and stepped out. Two men took a few minutes to open the slider door and make off with all of the guests' property. My wife and...
