This is one of those unique places where the journey is pretty thrilling - arriving by raft is such a great way to arrive in a resort! We stayed in the Linda Vista suites which are higher up in the resort but felt like you were in the forest canopy! The atmosphere is electric especially at night when the forest...

My wife and I enjoyed our Christmas adventure at the Pacuare Lodge. From rafting in (which was fun and just challenging enough for us) to the jungle walks, ziplining in the canopy (the patient and capable guides will quickly rescue you if you foolishly get stuck on a line high up in the trees, which I learned firsthand), the beautiful...

We stayed in the Canopy (Honeymoon) Suite from 12/5-12/9/2016 and our lives will never be the same. Two staff members picked us up from our hotel in San Jose in a medium-sized tour bus that was very clean and Christian gave us a bit of history as we passed through this gorgeous country at certain points of interest. Pro tip:...

My family is very big into rafting and for us to go to a resort that u must raft into just seemed perfect. Rafting in we had a guide, Jose, who was absolutely outstanding he was funny and made our trip incredibly enjoyable. Not only that but he remembered us and would make small talk with us here and there...

The most amazing vacation my family has experienced! Rafting in and out to get to the Lodge, gourmet food, exceptional staff and fun activities, what more could you want? Living in a rainforest without electricity, dining by candlelight in the jungle, this was a super cool adventure that we will reflect on for many years to come!

We visited Pacuare during the hurricane so unfortunately we couldn't raft in but the staff went out of their way to make our stay extra special even though the weather is completely out of their hands. The lodges are absolutely stunning - so much fun to have a hot shower out in the open jungle (there is an indoor shower...

Stayed here for 1 night on a whistle stop tour of Costa Rica and it is so much out of my comfort zone, that I was quite nervous about being here. However, by the time I left, it was the highlight of my trip. The main way of getting in and out is by white water rafting. I had initially...

The Pacuare lodge. We made a roundtrip in Costa Rica and this lodge is one out of the absolute top. We arrived at the lodge while rafting, what an experience. Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We were recommended this place by our Latin Expert in Scott Dunn. We were their with our children to celebrate my wife's 50th Birthday. Rafting into this beautiful remote location set the tone. The staff were as fantastic as the location, rooms, activities and food and general service. Ten out of ten.
