We had an amazing stay in this place. The staff is so sweet and the hotel is so nice. We came for a break and it was the ideal balance with the beach so close. Can't wait to be back ! Sebastien & Anne-Charlotte

This was a really relaxing hotel to spend a few days in. It had a good sized swimming pool and the rooms were very tastefully furnished and a good size. There was a very powerful shower in the bathroom ,wi-fi throughout the hotel and you got a varied breakfast each morning - we particularly liked the walnut cake! What makes... More

We stayed with my wife for a weekend and loved the place. Rooms are super comfy and the natural environment is priceless. Last but not least, we also enjoyed the customer experience and family atmosphere. We will definitely come back!

We stayed here for 5 days and found it a very relaxing place. The fabulous golden sandy beach is a short walk just across the road and we pretty much had it to ourselves. The hotel lent us chairs and an umbrella which were very welcome as it was very hot. The pool is great too as a nice way... More

We stayed for new years 2016 for 4 days: this place is dangerous for your health as rooms are full of mold caused by claimminess and dust. The hotel is well located and close to the beach, but... - Rooms are old, furniture more than used and beds outworn - You can smell mold and even see it in the... More

We had a wonderful stay at Posada Arenas de Jose Ignacio. The staff (Marisio and Camilla especially) were so warm and helpful. The hotel was so clean and the staff was always cleaning. We loved smelling the bread baking at night for the following breakfast.

Young couple from USA and we had a lovely time at Posada Arenas. Very quiet and peaceful stay and really enjoyed the property. Mauricio and the staff were very warm and made sure we had a comfortable, relaxed stay. Close to beach, and also the hammocks by the pool are a great place to relax!

Interesting architecture in a lovely setting (500m from the beach) with a warm, friendly and personal atmosphere. For outdoor leisure, there's a spacious pool, you can take bikes to town, but there's also quiteness to read and W-Lan if you need it. San Ignacio is defenitely a spot worth visiting in Uruguay

This is a very special place, one you leave feeling a bit sad not knowing when you will be back. My husband and I spent 6 nights in the charming town of José Ignacio. We spent our first 2 nights in another hotel just 1 km away of this one. We decided to extend our stay in José Ignacio but... More

We stayed two nights here on a first visit to Jose Ignacio. The hotel is attractive and modern and located in an area that is mostly private homes. There is a lovely beach about a 5 minute walk from the hotel across the sand dunes. Town is a longer walk (which can be hot during the day) but easily accessible... More
