considering the price of the place, we were disappointed. as it was the end of the summer, they did not make the effort to clean the swimming pool, even if the weather would have allowed to use it. for this kind of hotel, it is not really acceptable. the hotel is getting a bit old too, otherwise, the staff is...

away from the center of jose ignacio, you need a car to get here. The place is sweet, and the staff was REAL and very attentive, but relaxed at the same time. A littlee overpriced for what you get, but that is Jose Ignacio and Punta del este region. Very recommended for lovers of Jacuzzis and fancy showers!!!

Just beyond the main town part of Jose Ignacio is the very nice hotel. It's small, with very, very nice staff. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Easy walk to the ginormous beach with almost no one on it...and you could walk to town along the beach if you felt like it. Great restaurants in the area. Super nice breakfast at...

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The place was amazing, stylish, near to the beach and very, very comfortable. One of the perks of staying there is to have your delicious breakfast anytime you want, by the pool and with that amazing vibe of Jose Ignacio. The hotel was also very clean and people were always very...

I loved this 1960 deco style hotel. The building from the outside is not outstanding but once inside you end up in a Mad Men style hotel with tasty deco and comfortable spaces to relax. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the extreme kindness of the hosts and staff (more like stepping in a private home than in a...

Without the forced socializing. Right when you walk in you are welcomed warmly and shown around. They are full of helpful suggestions for things to do, will make all kinds of reservations for you, have a great breakfast if you want a break from the usual pastry and coffee. They have a solid wine selection as well. The poolside atmosphere...

This hotel was my favorite place to stay during my time in Argentina and Uruguay. The hotel staff was incredibly accommodating, giving us a personal cell phone to reach their staff at any point during our stay and also booking dinner reservations near by. The hotel provide bikes you can use to ride around the area and has a nice...
