3 of us took rooms here for 2 nights in mid-February. I can only agree with the other comments here. It was very disappointing. Especially after the grand appearance of its entrance. Nothing was open. No Bar, coffee shop etc. (at least not open). Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful and clearly do not like dealing with Farangs. The rooms were...

I stayed here when it was under construction, it's very inconvenient. (I think it's still under construction and being renovated at the moment) Food was so poor and service was not impressive. BTW , there are lots of shop and 711 nearby. Oh and don't use this place for holding the meeting.... this will be the worst.

Walk into the once grand foyer and be surprised that even though it looks like it's closed.... it's open! You can wander in to parts of this hotel that were once function but are now the stuff of urban dystopian explorations. Price online was 650 baht but for an extra 100 you upgrade from tiled to laminate flooring. Shower didn't...

I think it is the biggest hotel in Phrae. A lot of the parking. They separate restaurant and room clearly. At front dest look old even it is decorated with antiques. Food is good. The hotel is near Big C shopping center.

An old fashioned big city hotel that is way past it's prime. Looks inviting from the outside, but I would not stay again. + comfortable bed + location. Easy walk to the main street - water pressure barely adequate and had to crouch to get the water to spray my head! - dirty carpets - dirty old bathroom fittings -...

This place was probably quite hip during the Vietnam War. And it's probably the last time the decor and fixtures were changed. Other than that, the price is good (650B) for two double beds. You will not hang out in this room. (Correction: I just looked, the phone is from the 1980's and not the 1960's)

This hotel is just fine when you consider the competition in Phrae. It is a bit old and could use some work but the staff are friendly, if a bit lacking in English skills. The Maeyom Palace is certainly a nicer hotel but I was quoted more than double the price so I decided to stay at NP tower. I...
