The website actually undersells the location and ambience. This is Lodge-living par excellence. Perched on a gobsmacking coastal farm, the vastness and superb gardens - and golf course - add up to a stunning setting. The rooms and common areas are outstanding, coupled with first class food and wine and attentive service. The decor is US-ish but with sufficient Kiwi... More

Great location with wonderful seacoast views. Sterling environment with a touch of rural class. Wine and Golf on the top shelf with a friendly and supportive staff. You will enjoy and long recall a memorable stay.

We stayed at this magical property for 3 nights and experienced some of the best service ever! The cuisine at the Farmhouse utilizes locally sourced produce, meats and seafood. The staff and management go out of their way to make you feel at home. And the golf at Cape Kidnappers is a bucket list item!

We had stayed at Huka Lodge and were quite certain that nothing would compare. Well we were wrong. Kidnappers is unique and beautifully situated. The suites are perfectly designed, the views perfectly conceived and the facilities perfectly maintained. The staff could not be more pleasant or helpful. And the golf course deserves it's world renown. From the kiwi hike to... More

What a great place for golf and relaxation! It is very popular with Americans. The villa was spectacular and large. The bathroom had two separate vanities with a bath that stretched the full width of the room under the window. The shower and toilet were each separate. There was a walk in robe and a lovely balcony with views to... More

We had 2 nights at The Farm at Cape Kidnappers. Our room was lovely. Right next to the Spa where I had a lovely massage. Great view of the South Pacific. We were blessed with great weather. Did a very pleasant 'wild flower' walk of about 5k. Breakfast and supper were both fantastic. Great and friendly service as well as... More

The manager, Kris, makes sure your every need is met, and your expectations exceeded. The rooms and lodge are luxurious, but the grounds are even better.
