We will re-open for spring 2025. We are a family run 16th century watermill and a tearoom providing cream teas and cakes using wholemeal flour ground from organic wheat in our mill. There is free entry to the mill and 20 min information film. Please note :- All seating for our tearoom remains outside with undercover seating for 36 plus the Teagarden. Special diets catered for Dogs welcome on site but not in mill itself. There are Puzzles for children (and adults).

A local independently-run museum with an eclectic flavour, Ilfracombe museum has eight rooms filled with treasures. We have natural history specimens from around the world and plenty to see about Ilfracombe's past. Come and experience a museum that is unique and family-friendly. Children can explore our bat and spider specimens, have a go at a quiz, or send Morse code messages. Try your hand at brass rubbing ( additional small charge) , or browse our great value gift shop. We also have extensive photographic and family history resources for Ilfracombe. Our museum is a perfect all-weather attraction and can be easily accessed by wheelchair. Pay parking in car park outside the museum. Children under 16 FREE, £5 for adults and £4.00 for seniors ( over 65) and concessions. Annual season ticket from £12.

This 3.2 mile route on the South West Coast Path travels through a long wooded valley to The Torrs, a rugged area also known as 'The Seven Hills' with tremendous views across the Bristol Channel. Any walk around the town features steep gradients, but the magnificent cliff scenery towering above the picturesque harbour makes it worth the effort.

We are a family run wildlife & dinosaur park set in over 28 acres of spectacular gardens within the North Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As well as lions, wolves, sea lions, primates, meerkats, penguins and more, we are well known for our impressive life sized animatronic dinosaurs & gigantic indoor soft play area for dinomite fun, whatever the weather! Please note that the park is set in a beautiful valley at the top of Combe Martin village. Due to the natural terrain there are some fairly steep parts of the park and some areas might be challenging for people with mobility issues. This exciting and award winning, all weather, educational attraction provides a fascinating insight into the watery world of North Devon. The aquarium houses a diverse collection of local aquatic life in beautifully recreated natural habitats. The exhibits provide visitors with a unique zoned journey experience starting from the source of an Exmoor stream, down river to an estuary, local rockpool, Ilfracombe Harbour to Lundy and its marine reserve. Complimentary children's quizzes following fun trails are offered on entry.The aquarium also has a funky fish gift shop and a cafe, selling locally sourced delicious items.
